Xpress have introduced their new Flex Elimination set and upper deck for the XQ10 touring car. The set was designed to be used with the Flex Elimination upper deck and it will allow to limit longitudinal chassis flex whilst retaining lateral chassis flex which can be helpful in specific track conditions. Using the included red anodised aluminium collar instead of the ball bearings will limit chassis flex in all directions if desired. To make use of the set, Xpress’ 2.0mm Flex Elimination upper deck is needed. Both the set and upper deck are available separately.
Thornhill Racing Circuit of Hutto, Texas held a club race this past weekend, attracting nearly 100 entries. In the premier Nitro Buggy class it was Tekno RC’s Jared Tebo with the overall TQ and he also came out on top in the 30-minute A-main event, leaving behind Xray’s Ethan Lefebvre in 2nd, some two laps down as Jared’s Tekno RC teammate, Tyler Hooks completed the top 3 results another 13 seconds back.
GForce have introduced their new aluminium option parts for the Tamiya Thunder Shot and all other kits that share the same platform. The range includes aluminium steering knuckles, steering bellcranks, a rear suspension shaft holder and a gear case support. All parts are machined from high-quality aluminium and they come black anodised and with blue edge details for looks. Using the parts in place of the standard plastic items will greatly improve durability, precision and overall performance of both original and re-release buggies.
Coming from T-Works is their new basic tool set that includes an assortment of the most common metric tool sizes. Includes are four 1.5mm to 3.0mm standard hex and three 2.0mm to 3.0mm ball hex drivers as well as a combined 5.5mm and 7mm nut driver. The tools come in a protective, zipped case for easy and convenient storage.
Coming from Moto-Obscura and made for Losi’s Mini-T 2.0 truck are heavy duty lower suspension arms. They maintain the stock suspension geometry but are much stronger than stock. The 3-D-printed arms are available in several colours, allowing for further customisation of Losi’s popular mini truck.
Coming from VP Pro is their new 60mm to 135mm droop gauge for 1/8th and 1/10th scale off-road vehicles. The tool utilises a common design that allows for quick checking and adjustment of the suspension droop by simply sliding the upper part of the tool over the upper shock mount nut and reading the droop value using the tool’s ruler and the position of the lower shock mounting screw. The gauge is made of high-quality aluminium, it comes black anodised and with laser-engraved markings.
