Made for Axial’s crawler range of vehicles is this aluminium diff locker from Hot Racing. The part is designed to replace the standard differential cage with a single part that bolts right onto the diff gear using four screws. Four 5mm set screws then hold the standard outdrives in place. The diff locker comes anodised, laser-etched and including mounting hardware.

New from Avid and made for the Hot Bodies D8T 1/8th scale nitro truggy are carbon fibre inserts for the front and rear A-arms. Developed and used by Ty Tessmann to win the 2014 Dirt Nitro Challenge the inserts offer another tuning feature by reducing the flex and twist in the arm. The carbon inserts starts as a 3.9mm thick piece which is milled down to 2mm thick while leave 6 islands still at 3.9mm and to finish them up the islands are pocketed in the middle to 2mm to remove unnecessary weight. These inserts are installed on the bottom of the arm and the islands key around the moulded ribs in the arm. Installing these pieces will take some personal time and they are available as separate front and rear set as well as a combo containing both the front and rear inserts and the needed drill bits to prepare the truck’s arms.

Coming soon from Losi is the 8ight-E RTR 1/8th scale electric buggy. Building on the proven TLR 8ight-E 3.0 platform the factory assembled vehicle offers a tough aluminium chassis, 3-diff drivetrain, oil-filled big bore shock absorbers with threaded aluminium bodies, and black anodised aluminium shock towers. The fully adjustable suspension, taken over from the 8ight-E 3.0, is equipped with L/R thread turnbuckles and front and rear swaybars. Included with the kit comes a Dynamite 1800kv brushless motor, a 4S LiPo-compatible 130A speed controller and a Spektrum DX2E DSMX radio system with AVC Active Vehicle Control technology. The package is rounded out by a pre-decorated bodyshell and grippy tyres on yellow rims.

STRC’s popular LCG low centre of gravity chassis conversion kit for the Traxxas Slash 4×4 now come in three special colours. Following the rear brass bulkhead for the Yokomo B-Max2 buggy Arrowmax also have a more lightweight aluminium version available. The set adds only a small amount of weight compared to the stock composite part to retain the weight distribution, but it adds a good amount of rigidity especially in the camber link ballstud mounting area. Included also comes a sway bar mounting system to add further adjustability. The bulkhead set is made from 7075 aluminium, it comes blue anodised and laser etched for that pro looks.

New from Arrma and made for their range of 1/10th 2WD off-road vehicles are several red anodised aluminium option parts. Parts to replace the standard kit items in the Mega and BLS range kits include a short and long wheelbase TVP chassis, front and rear shock tower braces, a front hingepin hanger, a motor plate for the upgrades gearbox as well as a wheelie bar axle and servo arms for different servo makes. Previously only available for 1/10th buggies, Pro-Line now also make the Electron tyre tread available for short course trucks. The dedicated indoor tyre shares family ties with the Ion tyre and features a web-type tread for balanced forward traction and side bite even in dusty conditions.
