Hudy adjustable camber gauge 110mm

Coming from Hudy and hot on the heels of their recently introduced adjustable 80mm camber gauge is a 110mm variant for 1/8th buggies and GT cars. CNC-machined from premium-quality aluminium the gauge is ultra-precise and super accurate with tight tolerances, precise laser-etched markings and solid construction. The tool is extremely durable and wear resistant while still being of compact size and a lightweight design. The black-coated gauge is available from now on.

2020 Nuremberg Toy Fair – Tamiya

The 2020 Nuremberg International Toy Fair kicked off today. Formerly known as the most important fair when it comes to everything toys and radio control, this importance has took some knocks during the last decade down to a situation that only a handful of big players are daring the annual trip to Germany’s “toy city” to present their forthcoming new products. One of them however is Tamiya who show some nice new kits – but nothing really race-worthy to be frank. Certainly a crowdpleaser is the forthcoming GF-01CB Comical Avante buggy, the latest addition to Tamiya’s popular Comical buggy line-up.

Laverychev, Kosmakov & Khalilov win at Palace Cup Rd4

Round 4 of the Russian Palace Cup was hosted by the RC-Vladimir club last weekend, attracting some of the country’s fastest electric on-road racers. In Touring Modified it was Maxim Laverychev with a near clean sweep in the qualifiers, leaving behind Denis Laverychev in 2nd, the latter scoring at least a single round TQ. The finals saw a clean sweep of Maxim who took the overall from Denis in 2nd while Mihail Bykov rounded out an all-Awesomatix top 3.

Xray Racing Series Australia Rd1 – Report

The 2020 XRS Australia kicked off with a bang and 40 degree temperatures for the day in western Sydney, but everyone seemed to be enjoying themselves. Just on 50 entries is a great start to the XRS, considering the Whalan Club has minimal members, it was great to see the local clubs supporting the event. In Modified, Xray’s Ari Bakla took the win ahead Yokomo’s John Puse and ARC’s Lionel Saunders.

Wallie Builds B74 carbon fibre side guards

Coming soon from Wallie Builds are carbon fibre side guards for the Team Associated B74 buggy. These side guards are designed to look good as well as perform in the heat of competition. They are lighter than the stock guards, weighing in at 15g, offer similar flex characteristic to the stock guards and also have a higher ground clearance for less drag when jumping and cornering.

2019/20 Essex Winter Series Rd3 – Report

The third round of the 2019/20 Essex Winter Series took place last weekend, and once again featured another full capacity entry across the Modified, Super Stock and Front Wheel Drive classes. In the Modified class, Elliott Harper held the championship lead with maximum points in the first two rounds of the series, but would face a new challenge this time out with his Xray team-mate Alexander Hagberg making a return to the series for this event, and long-term rival Chris Grainger having his debut race for Awesomatix following his move to the Russian brand for the 2020 season.
