ProTek RC 34mm 4-shoe off-road clutch sets

ProTek have announced the release of their new 34mm 4-shoe off-road clutch for 1/8th buggies and trucks. The premium level clutch features a 34mm aluminium 4-shoe flywheel with removable steel pins so drivers can replace them when needed. A complete set of four 1.0, and four 0.9 springs are included, so owners can mix and match spring rates as needed to tune the engagement to suit the engine, track conditions and personal preferences. The clutch is available in two sets, with all 7075 aluminium or mixed aluminium and carbon shoes, both come with clutch nut and flywheel collet, creating an all inclusive high performance clutch system.

Helix Designs Pro Cut body foams

Helix Designs have announced the release of their new Pro Cut body foam cushions that are made to close the gap between the front of the body shell and the car’s bumper. Using the foams will prevent body rub and gives optimal body performance. The cushions measure 12x35mm and are available in 16-piece packs of 1.8mm, 3mm or 6mm thickness.

2019/20 BRCA LMP12 Nationals Rd2 – Report

Round two of the 2019/20 BRCA LMP12 Nationals took place in Poole last weekend. A strong entry of over 70 racers took part in the weekend’s racing as the season builds towards the IFMAR world championships in January. The Dorset club has a smaller track area but laid a fast and flowing circuit that required good rhythm and accuracy to secure a fast time. Saturday would see drivers competing in 13.5 and 17.5 stock classes. Winner of the first round of the 13.5 championship, Olly Jefferies was in commanding form taking first place in all four rounds of qualifying. It was, however, very close at the front and he would line up on pole under a second ahead of David Spashett with Ollie Payne a further second back in third place.

Machined from high-quality aluminium and coming with a special hard-coated surface treatment, the small-diameter clutch bell offers a lower weight than the previous #VZW429 clutch bell for improved drivetrain efficiency while adding overall durability at the same time. The clutch bell is usable for kits such as the R4 Evo.2, R4 Evo, R4s II and R4s.

Xtreme Racing Mojave carbon fibre shock towers

Coming from Xtreme Racing and made for the Arrma Mojave truck are front and rear carbon fibre shock towers. Machined from high-quality 5mm carbon material the towers replace the standard aluminium shock stays and they feature additional shock mounting holes for extra adjustability. The shock stays are available separately for the front and the rear of the vehicle.

Yeah Racing digital pit scale

Yeah Racing have introduced their new digital pit scale that allows to measure the weight of differentials as well as tyres and even wheel loads. With a measuring range of 0.1g to 1000g the multi-functional scale is usable for a wide range of applications and it features a backlit display as well as a protective cover while being small enough for easy storage and carrying.

Hayato Ishioka crowned 2019 Speed King

The final round of the 2019 Speed King Tour was held at the SRT Sagami do racing track in the Kanagawa prefecture. The track’s layout suits both 1/8th and 1/10th nitro cars which makes for real high speed battles in the 1/10th electric touring classes. Yokomo driver Hayato Ishioka showed his speed right from the get go as he took the overall TQ after the three rounds of qualifying, however another Yokomo driver, Souta Goto took the pole position after wining the “Super Lap” session.
