Absima CR4T Ultimate Carbon 4-channel radio system

Absima have introduced their new CR4T Ultimate Carbon 4-channel radio system. The transmitter features a new carbon fibre design for improved looks while the new, faster A.F.H.D.S.2A transmitting technology with 8ms reaction time ensures exceptional vehicle control. Other features include the Brilliant Touch Screen display, 20-model memory, telemetry functions as well as a race-legal Race Mode to deactivate all telemetry systems. A multi-language menu rounds out the key features. The transmitter comes as a combo set including two water-proof micro receivers as well as voltage, temperature and speed telemetry sensors.

Blaze RC DK4 1/9 4WD Desert Rally vehicle

Blaze RC have introduced their new DK4 1/9th scale 4WD Desert Rally pre-assembled chassis kit. The car utilises professional-grade parts with the plastics being made by Xray and many of the drivetrain components being machined using S2-grade spring steel material. The 4WD vehicle features a fully adjustable suspension with threaded aluminium body bleeder cap shock absorbers, left/right turnbuckles and it makes use of a 3-diff drivetrain for exceptional traction in a variety of track conditions. The weight balance is adjustable by using a centre-front of centre-rear motor setup and aluminium suspension mounts as well as carbon fibre chassis parts and shock towers round out the package. Included in the rolling chassis kit are also large diameter block tread tyres on black multi-spoke rims and the kit is complete with a Desert Rally truck body shell as well as an optional buggy lid that allows to easily convert the truck into a race-inspired performance buggy.

Carlos Barros TQs & wins at IRC Series Rd3

Round 3 of the Spanish IRC Series was held at the IRC Arena in Callosa de Segura this past weekend. In the Touring 10.5T Stock class it was Carlos Barros with the overall TQ after making a clean sweep in the qualifiers and he would also bring home the wins in all three A-main legs for the overall win in front of Jesus Dato Vidal and David Perez Molina. With one round to go Carlos is currently leading the overall championship and he is also the pre-event favourite going into the season finale.

Team Bomber orange/yellow dual compound rear tyres

Team Bomber from Japan have introduced their new orange/yellow dual compound foam tyres for 1/12th scale pan cars. Developed for the use in stock classes or in high-bite track conditions, the dual compound foam utilises the proven standard orange and the rubber-based yellow foams to achieve even greater performance while overcoming many disadvantages associated with using dual compound tyres. The set includes six pre-cut tyres that are usable on almost every 1/12th scale rear rim.

Tobias Vogel wins at Longwy Winter Series opener

The opening round of the popular Longwy Winter Series was held last weekend in Longwy, France. The club, which is situated in the northern part of France, laid out a nice and flowing carpet track with the event drawing more than 100 entries and the biggest class of the weekend was the Touring 13.5 Superstock category with over 50 entries alone. After the triple A-mains and When the dust had settled, it was Tobias Vogel with the overall victory from Florian Joos in 2nd, the latter having to cope with a power deficit in A2 and A3 but was able to secure the overall runner-up spot with a win in the third A-main as Alexander Becker would round out the top 3 results.

Reds Racing signs Burak & Berkan Kilic

Reds Racing have announced the signing of young and talented Burak and Berkan Kilic to their factory team for the 2020 and 2021 seasons. The two brothers will be using Reds Racing nitro engines and electronics and will be attending several important races in the next months. Burak and Berkan are both really enthusiastic and proud of being part of Reds Racing team.

Absima universal transmitter hardcase

Absima have introduced their new universal transmitter hardcase bag that can be adapted for most pistol grip radios on the market. Measuring a total of 350x250x150mm and sporting inner dimensions of 320x220x130mm the hardcase bag is equipped with a pre-cut inner foam whose small blocks can be taken out to adapt the foam to pretty much every transmitter size and shape. The lid of the hardcase is equipped with zipped net inserts that allow to store accessories or manuals and a detachable belt rounds out the package.
