Designed with the main goal of having a part with maximum crash survivability, the tower offers a ribbed structure surrounding the vital areas that needed support. Exotek DEX210 aluminium suspension mounts

Exotek Racing introduce new low roll centre aluminium suspension mounts for the Team Durango DEX210 buggy. Available are a RF Hanger with shims, and two LRC mounts with standard or +0.5° toe-in setting. Starting with the RF mount, the part allows to use a 2mm lower roll centre with 0° or 1.5° kick-up or the standard roll centre with 0° or 1.5° kick-up by adding the included shims under the hanger. The easy shimming option does away with the need to disassemble the whole rear end of the vehicle only to change the roll centre or kick-up settings. The set is machined from 7075 aluminium, comes anodised and works with the DEX210 alloy chassis, DIMEC type A or the optional Exotek chassis both in MM and RM configuration.

Team Associated SC10 RTR Combo packages

Team Associated soon have the first SC10 RTR Combo kits available. Based on the regular RTR version, the Combo packages also include a genuine Reedy 3000mAh NiMH battery pack, a Tamiya-to-T-type adapter and a wall charger. This means the trucks are now virtually ready-to-run out of the box and only require the addition of 8 AA-size cells for the transmitter. The trucks themselves are untouched and feature the ROAR nationals winning SC10 chassis, multi-terrain tyres on black SC style wheels and pre-finished body shells. The SC10 RTR Combo kits will become available as Pro Comp and KMC Wheels design variant.

New from Reedy comes the Sonic 544 Mach 2 4-pole brushless motor for 4×4 short course trucks. Designed for competition, the motor incorporates several high-performance features to achieve maximum power output, efficiency, and durability. A lightweight case reduces overall motor weight with strategically placed vent holes and an aluminium end cap to lower operating temperatures. Supported between dual precision ball bearings, the high-strength 4-pole rotor creates the torque necessary to power out of the turns and clear the toughest jump sections. The 540-size motor features a 5mm output shaft and comes as 4300kv and 4800kv variant.

It features polished steel flywheel pins that are extremely high pressure fitted and provide extremely smooth clutch action. Kyle Rhodes takes 2wd at Connecticut State Champs

This past Sunday the Connecticut State Championships were held at Wolcott Hobby and Raceway in Waterbury, Connecticut and Kyle Rhodes wrote this report. ‘The race had 120 entries with drivers from multiple states being present. I competed in 2wd Modified buggy and 4wd Modified Buggy. Fellow Kyosho driver Jimmy James Rivera was also in attendance competing in 2wd Modified Buggy and 1/8th Electric Buggy. Jimmy and myself practiced Thursday before the event and were able to get a good base setup for our Kyosho RB6 rear motor cars for the race.

Tekin signs Kyle McBride

Tekin have announced the signing of 3-time Australian National Champ Kyle McBride to the team. Kyle will be powered by the latest Tekin RSX ESC and Redline Gen2 motors in his 1/10 Kyosho cars and will also step into the 1/8 E Buggy class powered by the ROAR National championship winning Tekin Rx8 Gen2 ESC and Gen2 T8 motor line up. Kyle had this to say:
