JConcepts T4.1 Finnisher & Pressure Points

Seen in pre production guise previously, JConcepts have released their Finnisher 1/10th truck body for the T4.1 racing truck. The slight cab forward, raked windshield and aggressive stance highlight a performance oriented core.  Front chin spoiler, headlight and grill protect the front-end from unwanted up-drafts during flight. Also new for 1/10th truck is the Pressure Points in blue, green and gold compounds. They are the latest low-height tread option specifically designed to tame high-speed courses with either wet or blue groove traction conditions. The design starts as an angular, low pin design as a carryover from the successful Bar Codes front tire line-up. The small “points” combined with “lower case” Y elements developed on the original Bar Codes V1 rear tire provide the ultimate in surface area “pressure” penetration and tack.

Martin Bayer takes Rd4 of Czech offroad nationals

Last weekend the 4th round of Czech Nationals took place on track Dolní Bukovsko and Martin Bayer wrote this report. Club did very good job preparing this track for nationals. They totally rebuild track for this race and it was medium grip with a blue groove and many very fast corners. The Czech championship has 5 races in total I had already taken the overall championship title. We ran two classes, 1/8 nitro and 1/8 electric off-road. In both qualifications my cars were excellent. During practice I made set-up which was very good and I stuck with it until the end of the race. I was the only driver who made 10 laps in qualification in both classes and had the overall TQ in both classes. On Sunday we had finals. I won the electro class, leading the race from start to finish. In the nitro class I didn’t give any chance to the other drivers. I started nitro class from pole position with great pit strategy and perfect run I won with 3 lap gap.
