Pro-Line Black Diamond shock shafts

More new items from Pro-Line with the release of these Black Diamond shock shafts for the TLR22, B4.1 and B44.1 racing buggies. After months of research, development and testing Pro-Line has produced what they believe is the best performing high-end racing shock shafts ever produced. Starting with the highest grade USA forged Alloy, the shaft is then precision centerless ground and machined to absolute tolerances and finish specifications using CNC machines in the USA. They then roll form the threads instead of cutting in the threads for the highest strength threads possible and then coated each shaft with Black Diamond DLC coating. This coating creates a much harder surface than standard TiNitride shaft coatings and delivers a 10 times smaller Coefficient of Friction for the smoothest shock action that has ever been achieved. As mentioned previously, for 1/10th buggies Pro-Line have officially released their popular Crimefighter and Bow Tie thread in 4wd front and 2/4wd rear tire form respectively.

Pro-Line Cat SX3 & Cougar SV2 shells

Pro-Line have introduced the BullDog body for the Schumacher Cat SX3 4wd and Cougar SV2 Pro 2wd buggies. Pro-Line took great care in refining the design for 2012 to create even more stability with enhanced steering to gain an advantage on the track. The windshield is steeper to create more down force over the front wheels and the roof ridges have been raised to channel the air flow over the middle of the body for increased high-speed stability. The rear of the roof has been lowered and fins have been added to achieve stable air flow over the body. The fins also add rigidity to the body to increase aerodynamic efficiency.

Reedy Sonic 1512 competition motors

Thanks to advancements in battery technology, 1:8 electric buggies and truggies are destined to be the next big racing class. Reedy have released the powerful and reliable Sonic 1512 competition brushless motor which has been designed specifically for the 1:8 electric buggy and truggy classes. A precision-machined case features an integrated heat sink to lower operating temperatures, which results in less fade over the course of a race, longer run times, and increased motor life. Sensored operation results in a smooth and controllable power band, while a high-torque 4-pole rotor featuring neodymium sintered magnets is supported by precision ball bearings for maximum power output and reliability. A choice of three versions means that there is a Sonic 1512 competition brushless motor to suit most tracks and conditions.
