Serpent S100 Link World GT chassis

Serpent have released their 1/10 scale pancar, the S100 Link, which is the 1/10 World GT version of their S120 1/12 scale pan-car. This high performance 1/10 scale pan chassis features quality machined carbon fibre and aluminium parts throughout, with its fully adjustable front end creating lots of steering. A spring loaded link system, in combination with diagonal positioned main shock and lateral damper with through shaft, control the roll of the car. The well balanced chassis offers a wide selection of set-up features and options to dial the car in for any track. Available in the beginning of August.

Wisconsin Nitro Series Rd3 report

As the summer continues on, so does the Wisconsin Nitro Series. Round 3 was Sunday at the MARRCA Race track located just outside of Madison Wisconsin. A great turnout was expected and that is what we had. 101 entries from 3 different states joined us for an exciting day of racing. We have had some great races so far in the series and round 3 produced even more, but good racing was not the only thing racers had in their future on this beautiful day. The other thing racers had to look forward to was what has become the common theme of the WNS and that is rain. The weather man said this weekend was going to be perfect, well he was wrong. As we started the first round promptly like we do each race at 10am. I checked the radar and saw that there was a large line of storms heading our way that no doubt would affect the later stages of the event. So I decided to shorten the warm-up time between heats in hopes to expedite the program and get all the races in. We also needed to shorten up some of the mains to also ensure we could get all the races in and it worked!

Serpent Lightweight 17mm wheel nuts

New from Serpent for their Cobra and most other 1/8 buggies are these cool looking, anodised, lightweight 17mm wheel-nuts. Weighing in at only 1.6 grams each, they are made superb quality aluminium, precision machined, with serrated flanges to keep the wheel-nuts on your car.

Venom Power AA/AAA Speed Charger

The new AA/AAA Speed charger is the latest addition to the charger line up offered by Venom. This micro processor controlled charger automatically peak charges each cell individually. It will charge both NiCd and NiMh cells and features a temperature sensor in case of an overheating cell, a maximum charge timer and short circuit protection.

KM Racing H-K1 option parts

New from KM Racing for their H-K1 200mm chassis is this range of optional parts. To bring the car up to regulation weight as well as putting that weight in the correct place KM have released 2 new copper battery plates in either 25g or 30g weight. Also new are a complete range of anodised aluminium pinion gears in 15T, 17T, 20T, 22T & 23T. Other new parts include a front carbon bumper plate set, foam bumper, a 800mAh NiMh AAA receiver pack and finally a pair of CNC machined POM rear belt tension adjusting hubs.

Xceed TF-1 & TF-2 tire traction fluid

Xceed have released their tire traction fluid TF-1 and TF-2. Provides additional traction for indoor and outdoor use and for both foam and rubber tires. Suitable for 1/12, 1/10 and 1/10 Pro-10 and WGT as well. The TF-1 is used when there is medium to high traction, while TF-2 is used mainly on finals days, when tracking is getting almost too high, and TF-2 will help avoid traction-rolling.

Axial Beadlocks, Wheel weights & Hardline body

New from Axial are these 2.2 VWS beadlock wheels and spare rings for the XR10. The wheel set includes black laser etched beadlock rings and are compatible with Vanquish product’s patented wheel weight systems. Features a narrow offset to increase steering response and strength. Also new from Axial is their new Internal wheel weight system (Patent Pending) that allows for precise and easy addition of weight to your Axial 2.2 and 1.9 Beadlocks. Purchase the Internal Weight Ring to add weight and increase stability on difficult obstacles. To add even more weight use the Internal Wheel Weight Inserts to fine tune the total weight. Finally there is the new Hardline, a competition inspired body with the design, layout and size all catered for optimum performance.
