Mario Spiniello wins at Freedom Cup WRS 2K20

Last weekend the Freedom Cup WRS 2K20 race was held at the Miniautodromo TQ-Road track in Teverola, Italy. The 1/10th 200mm Nitro Touring class saw Mario Spiniello taking the TQ by about four tenths of a seconds from Ciro Borrelli in 2nd. The A-main was a very difficult affair for many drivers because of the high tyre wear. Mario decided to start the 30-minutes long encounter with hard compound tyres and so he had to be on his toes the whole time. With a controlled pace he was able to manage the tyres in the first half of the race while keeping a 2nd place and when Ciro Borrelli suffered an engine flame out during his fourth fuel stop, Mario was able to regain the lead and to take the win from Ciro in 2nd. Behind the two, Pasquale Natale would complete the top 3 result.
