JConcepts RC10 Detonator Worlds bodyshell

JConcepts introduce the Detonator Worlds bodyshell for the Team Associated RC10 buggy. The spirit of the Detonator lives in the 1990’s, starting with the rear biased, over rear tower, hung cab, super large window detail. The side-pods are simple, yet effectively cover the iconic aluminium tub chassis and skate by the latest in inboard electrical gear. Hard-edge chamfering along the sides of the body provides a current and trimmed look while one large side window, stands out giving that unique 90’s racer style. The front of the body slides just inside the front shock tower and nose brace tubes and gradually rises up to a centre inlet scoop built into the hood. Included in each Detonator package is a 5.5″ wing that is designed to fit flat and sits down and hugs the back of the body. The wing side-dams are finished off with a little inspiration from today with the leading edge angled and already in attack mode. Included with the clear bodyshell, that is usable with the RC10 Classic, RC10 Worlds rel-release as well as vintage RC10’s, come window masks and a decal sheet.

Core RC camber gauge & nitro accessories

Schumacher introduce new Core RC accessories such as a camber gauge, an engine stopper and fuel pipe clips. Starting with the camber gauge, the tool is made from lightweight plastic and it offers an adjustment range of ±10 degree while the design allows for simple trackside camber checks in seconds. Also new is the engine stopper tool with handy pocket clip. Used to kill the engine by putting in the exhaust outlet you never burn your fingers again stopping your nitro engine. Last but not least is a set of plastic fuel tube clips that keep the fuel line of nitro cars looking neat and tidy.

JConcepts B-Max2 MR Silencer bodyshell

JConcepts introduce the Silencer design bodyshell for the Yokomo B-Max2 MR. Making use of the distinctive Silencer shape the body features a highly angled windscreen for improved steering response, a roof section with incorporated shark fin for added stability in high-speed sections and a boxy rear section to make way for the mid motor and gearbox. Included with the body come two 6.5″ Hi-Clearance rear wings, window masks and a decal sheet.

Revolution Design Ultra Tire Glue

Revolution Design Racing Products introduce their new Ultra Tire Glue. The specially formulated CA glue is ideal for on-road and off-road rubber tires as the low viscosity allows the adhesive to fill even the smallest of gaps for reliable bonding. The glue comes in handy 20g bottles with a fine tip for easy application while the needle-equipped cap keeps the tip free from glue over a long time.

Schumacher Cougar alloy chassis & front link mount

Schumacher introduce two new Speed Secrets option parts for the Cougar line of 2WD buggies. First up is an aluminium main chassis plate for the BRCA nationals winning Cougar KF. Stiffer with a lower centre of gravity for better corner speed and stability the chassis supports both the standard and low grip motor position. Secondly and made for all the Cougar KF, KR and SV2 is a CNC machined black anodised alloy front link mount. It offers greater strength and faster roll centre adjustments and combines two link mount positions using the kit standard 50.5mm and also a new 42.5mm position.

Serpent 1/8 truggy spiral gear option

Serpent introduce a spiral differential gear and pinion option for the company’s 1/8th truggy kits. Coming as separate items both the 43T diff gear and the 10T pinion have a slight spiral cut for super true and smooth operation. The gears are made from hardened steel and while the newly released Cobra-E Truggy features them right out of the box gears are an upgrade for the Cobra nitro truggy and also the Cobra buggy series in case a shorter internal gear ratio is needed.

Vaterra Chevrolet K-5 Ascender 4WD off-road kit

Vaterra introduce the Chevrolet K-5 Ascender 1/10th scale 4WD off-road kit. Resembling one of the most popular 4×4 vehicles of all times, the innovative platform features stamped-steel ladder frames with adjustable wheelbase, a metal gear transmission and a very capable off-road suspension with a 3-link panhard bar front and 4-link rear setup with aluminium links and oil-filled, threaded shock absorbers. The transmission is engineered to handle even high-output power systems and brutal track conditions. A 2-speed transmission is available optionally. The battery tray floats over the front axle and is designed to accept 96mm shorty packs. Placing the weight of the battery over the front axle gives the front tyres extra traction when crawling over rocks and tackling steep inclines. A licensed 1986 K-5 Blazer body and licensed reproductions of Interco Super Swamper tyres are also included.

JConcepts Dirt Tech 1/8th truck inserts

JConcepts’ Dirt Tech inserts are soon also available for 1/8th truggies. Designed in conjunction with tyre insert guru, Brian “Dirt” Kinwald to bring the ultimate touch and feel while providing utmost durability, the 1/8th truck insert has medium sized cuts on the outside which touch off against the tyre inner carcass providing a cushy response and feel. The inside has horizontal channels cut in a 360 pattern to soak up the large impacts and help create forward bite and increase acceleration. The JConcepts design, with custom sculpted features, are blended into the newly developed material providing racers a durable option capable of being used in medium to extremely high-traction conditions.
