SWorkz S104 EK1 Performance chassis kit

Available from end of March is SWorkz’ new Performance chassis conversion kit for the S104 EK1 1/10th scale buggy. The kit will include a new aluminium lower chassis plate with venting holes in the motor area, it comes with a new motor and centre drivetrain mount, new saddle pack locators to relocate the battery to a side-by-side configuration and the kit will also include a new rear topdeck and new front and rear arms. Also supplied are several new plastic parts and a new bodyshell.

Xray XB4 linear spring sets

Xray have new linear springs for the XB4 line of 1/10th off-road buggies available. The new ‘hard’ 4-dot springs offer a C=0.80 rating for the front and C=0.50 rating for the rear, making them the firmest XB4 springs so far. Sold as pair each set is measured and matched to provide identical damping characteristics and they come laser-engraved for easy identification. The springs fit the XB4, XB4’14 and XB4 2WD buggy alike.

Ghea piston storage box

Ghea now have this handy storage box for 1/10th and 1/8th shock pistons and other small parts available. Measuring 98x40mm the box offers a total of 10 compartments that make storage and transportation of small parts easy. The box is topped of by a sliding transparent lid.

Yeah Racing 60mm Shock-Gear dampers

Yeah Racing introduce a 60mm shock absorber set based on their Shock-Gear oil-filled 50mm and 55mm dampers. They are designed to fit many 1/10th rally cars and feature threaded aluminium shock bodies, blue anodised aluminium upper caps, lower caps and spring pre-load nuts, they come with a full array of shock springs and a set of standard and conical hole pistons to adjust compression and rebound characteristics. Other features include titanium-nitride coated shock shafts, anti-leak O-rings and different volume compensator options.

Muchmore Fleta ZX 13.5T fixed timing brushless motor

Muchmore’s Fleta ZX 13.5T Type-W brushless motor is now also available in a fixed timing version. The hand-out motor of the 2013/14 ETS Pro Stock class builds on the same design as the conventional stock motors but comes with a fixed timing endbell making it ideal for zero timing club races, regional and national championships alike.

Exotek B5M battery strap & FlexFit cap

New from Exotek Racing comes the ‘Flite’ carbon battery strap for the Team Associated B5M buggy and a Navy FlexFit hat. Starting with the battery retainer, the part is cut from high-quality carbon fibre, it weights in at only 6g and replaces the stock composite strap with a more rigid part. The direct replacement strap is useable with stock and aftermarket thumbscrews. Also new is the adult-size FlexFit hat with embroidered Exotek team logo to show your passion to everything Exotek. The cap is available in S/M and L/LX sizes.

Kyosho 69 teeth 48 pitch spur gear

Kyosho America introduce a 69 teeth 48 pitch spur gear for the use in stock and spec brushless classes. The smallest spur gear to fit the current 1/10th slipper clutch allows the lower ratios typical for this type of racing and it is made from high-quality composite material for low weight, high strength and low running noise.

Reds Racing 2014 R5 engine range

Reds Racing have new R5 buggy engines available in the form of the R5T Team Edition and the R5 Racer. The 2014 versions both feature a new front ball bearing with improved sealing and better durability, a redesigned crankcase with wider fins close to the exhaust makes for better cooling and the power plants also come with a new combustion camber insert and cooling head. The R5T Team Edition is hand-tuned by Mario Rossi and comes with a silicone-filled, balanced and tuned crankshaft, rear ceramic bearing, RDC hard-coated backplate, 5-port sleeve with exhaust port booster and a long needle carburettor. Before leaving the factory the engine is hand inspected and compression checked for maximized performance.
