More Serpent SRX2 option parts released

Serpent introduce more option parts for their Spyder SRX2 line of 2WD buggies. First up is a 3-piece aluminium steering rack set that includes aluminium steering bellcranks and the steering rack. The CNC-macined parts are made from high-grade aluminium for less flex and a more precise steering feeling. Another new aluminium option is the 2-piece servo mount set. Again the parts are designed to eliminate unwanted flex for a rock-solid steering response.

Exotek AE 2WD direct spur gear hub

Exotek Racing now have this direct spur gear hub for Team Associated 2WD vehicles available. The slipper assembly eliminator spur gear mounting hub fits all B4, T4 and SC10 with the stock layshaft and is great for stock class and oval racing. The machined aluminium part is lighter for increased acceleration and a cooler running motor and allows the mounting of any standard spur gear for increased gear ratio options. The part weights 3.8g and comes blue anodised.

STRC SCX10 link conversion & universal chassis set

 STRC have new option parts for Axial’s SCX10 crawler available. First up is the 4-link upper suspension link conversion kit that replaces the stock “Y” link setup with a two-piece and more adjustable upper front suspension link set-up. The included 4-link plate provides the upper links with 3 different positions to adjust the width of the span between the two upper suspension links. The included mounting screws are also long enough to have spacers added to adjust the angle of the suspension links as well. Available in anodized black, gun metal, and silver.

AKA Typo 1/10th truck tyre

AKA introduce the Typo 1/10th stadium truck tyre. Just like the buggy variant the truck Typo sports a very low tread pattern that has been optimised for hard-packed indoor tracks and low dust, grooved outdoor tracks. The tyre is now available in AKA’s Clay compound and while the standard Super Soft compound will hit the stores beginning of February. Included with each pair come AkA’s red inserts.

LRP ZZ.21C Ceramic Spec.2 engine

LRP have released details on their new ZZ.21C Ceramic Spec 2 buggy engine. This new version claims to have more power, a higher top speed, better fuel efficiency and linear power delivery compared to the previous version. To achieve this, changes have been made to the piston and conrod as well as to the liner with the needles in the carburetor also having been revised. Finally the cooling head fins have been inclined upward to create more surface area for better cooling.

Serpent Spyder SRX2 body and wings

Serpent have released some new body and aero parts for their Spyder SRX2. For the RM version there is a pre cut and pre painted body shell in orange, grey and white. In terms of wings there is a front wing set which creates more downforce and grip in the front and influences balance when jumping. Includes clear polycarbonate wing and strong composite wing mount. For their rear there is wider high downforce 7” wing compared to the standard 6” version. For the MM version they also now offer optional lower rear wing mounts which on high speed tracks help reduce drag and influence jump balance.
