LRP S10 Twister alloy wheel adapters & servo arms

LRP have new option parts for the S10 Twister line of off-road vehicles as well as alloy servo arms available. Starting with the Twister parts, the aluminium wheel adapters are made from high-quality material and they offer increased rigidity over the stock parts. Included are also four steel drive pins and rubber O-ring to hold the pins in place. Also new are three aluminium servo arms for 23 teeth, 24 teeth and 25 teeth splines. Coming as single arm variant for steering duties and dual arm versions for throttle and brake applications in nitro cars, the arms offer increased rigidity especially when used with high-power servos for increased steering precision and brake holding power. They come blue anodised and with a pre-drilled ballstud mounting hole.

Vampire Racing introduce their new line of highly flexible “flat-type” sensor wires. Made from tough yet easy-to-bend wire the sensor harnesses make for tidy wiring and the highly flexible design reduces unwanted tweak when used in pan cars. The wires come in seven different length including 50mm, 75mm, 100mm, 125mm, 150mm, 175mm and 200mm, ideal for all applications from 1/8th to 1/12th scale.

Following the respective part for the rear motor Team Associated B5 RudeBits now also have a LiPo battery brace for the mid motor B5M buggy available. Made from high-quality carbon fibre the part is made to be a direct replacement for the standard composite plastic part.

DE Racing TLR, Kyosho & Durango SpeedLine wheels

DE Racing release a few additional wheel offsets to their already extensive catalog of SpeedLine wheels. Offsets include front wheels for the new TLR 22-4, front wheels for the Kyosho Laser ZX-5, and front and rear wheels for the Team Durango DEX210 and DEX410. The Team Durango DEX410 wheels are also designed to work with the Xray XB4. This initial release will be in white and yellow with more colour options to follow.

New design Kyosho Inferno MP9 engine mount

Kyosho’s nitro off-road mastermind Yuichi Kanai introduced this new engine mount for the Kyosho MP9 1/8th off-road buggy. Instead of using two separate base plates the new mount is of a 1-piece U-shaped design which is understood to help with stability and rigidity while the engine itself is still mounted using spilt mounting blocks. The gun metal anodized part comes laser-etched and will become available from end of April.

STRC SCX10 aluminium rear lock-outs

ST Racing Concepts now have machined aluminium lock-outs for the Axial SCX10 available. Adding visial impact and greatly increasing the strength of the rear drive axles, these lock-outs works with the stock straight axles or STRC’s stainless steel axles. The increased precision will also keep the axles inside running true and keep them from bending. Coming in pairs the parts are available in black, gun metal, green and silver. Also available are web limited colours of red, orange, and blue anodising. Complete lock-out and stainless steel axles set also now available in gun metal anodising.

Avid Associated 12mm shock & turnbuckle tool

Avid introduce the 12mm shock and turnbuckle tool for Team Associated 1/10th buggies such as the B5, B44.2 and T4.2. The tool works with Associated, JConcepts and Lunsford turnbuckles and can also be used to hold the shock bottom of the new AE 12mm shocks. The tool also mimics the servo mounting pattern of the B44 buggy allowing to mount the servo to the mounts outside of the chassis meaning everything will be nice, centred and tweak-free. Once the assembly is squared up detach it from the tool and mount it to the chassis. The tool is CNC-machined from 6061 aluminium and comes black anodised with silver edges and laser-etched logo.

WTF Windy 3416 cooling fan

Wild Turbo Fan introduce the Windy 3416 cooling fan, a purpose made unit that offers the best possible balance between power, weight and toughness. The dual ball-raced fan measures 34x16mm, it used the same mounting pattern as a standard 30mm unit and sports a special trumpet intake for smoother yet accelerated airflow resulting in improved component cooling. Good for the use with up to 8.4V input the fan consumes around 0.47A while offering around 23,000RPM. The fan weights in at 12.5g and is available very soon.
