Team C TM4 1/10th 4WD buggy

Team C Racing’s TM4 4WD buggy kit is known for some time now and while the first factory drivers got their hands on pre-production kits the actual production kits should hit the stores very soon. As reported before the buggy builds on a newly developed 7075-T& aluminium chassis with plastic side rails and it features a special layout designed around the use of 2S LiPo shorty packs. Having virtually nothing in common with the previous T4 platform the kit includes new gearboxes with updated anti-roll bar mounts, a new motor mount, updated big bore shock absorbers with upper composite caps, a newly designed slipper clutch with octagonal slipper pads, new A-arms with droop screws and updated steering parts for added agility. The kit is rounded out by 14mm aluminium wheel hex adapters and a cab forward body shell.

Hobbywing Xerun 120A WP V3.1 ESC

German Hobbywing distributor Hype announce the soon release of the Xerun 120A WP V3.1 speed controller. Building on the already known V3.1 the WP version is highly water protected making it ideal for on-road and off-road applications alike. The controller is made for 2S to 3S use, sports a 120A rating and it the ESC’s firmware is upgradable using the optional programming box. The other features such as the high airflow cooling head, all-aluminium case and build-in switch remain unchanged from the non-WP model.

Kyosho RB6 option parts

Kyosho soon have new option parts for the World Championship winning RB6 buggy available. First up is a lightweight chassis plate, made from 7075-T6 aluminium. Coming hard anodised the chassis also sports additional milled out sections for a lower weight compared to the standard kit chassis. Also new is the Blade lightweight body made from 0.6mm polycarbonate. Being of a lighter weight, using the body makes for a lower centre of gravity and a reduced all-up weight. Last but not least is a brass weight set for the rear bulkhead of mid motor converted cars. Included are a total of three weights as well as mounting hardware for a drop-in fit.

More Serpent SRX2 option parts released

Serpent introduce more option parts for their Spyder SRX2 line of 2WD buggies. First up is a 3-piece aluminium steering rack set that includes aluminium steering bellcranks and the steering rack. The CNC-macined parts are made from high-grade aluminium for less flex and a more precise steering feeling. Another new aluminium option is the 2-piece servo mount set. Again the parts are designed to eliminate unwanted flex for a rock-solid steering response.

Exotek AE 2WD direct spur gear hub

Exotek Racing now have this direct spur gear hub for Team Associated 2WD vehicles available. The slipper assembly eliminator spur gear mounting hub fits all B4, T4 and SC10 with the stock layshaft and is great for stock class and oval racing. The machined aluminium part is lighter for increased acceleration and a cooler running motor and allows the mounting of any standard spur gear for increased gear ratio options. The part weights 3.8g and comes blue anodised.

New in HPI Racing’s Plazma Pro range of LiPo batteries is the 4000mAh 2S shorty pack. Build from 95C cells the pack meets the latest ROAR and EFRA size specifications and it is ideal for off-road and on-road cars alike. Included with the pack, that is fitted with 4mm female gold-plated connector tubes, comes a suitable charging and balancing harness.

STRC SCX10 link conversion & universal chassis set

 STRC have new option parts for Axial’s SCX10 crawler available. First up is the 4-link upper suspension link conversion kit that replaces the stock “Y” link setup with a two-piece and more adjustable upper front suspension link set-up. The included 4-link plate provides the upper links with 3 different positions to adjust the width of the span between the two upper suspension links. The included mounting screws are also long enough to have spacers added to adjust the angle of the suspension links as well. Available in anodized black, gun metal, and silver.

AKA Typo 1/10th truck tyre

AKA introduce the Typo 1/10th stadium truck tyre. Just like the buggy variant the truck Typo sports a very low tread pattern that has been optimised for hard-packed indoor tracks and low dust, grooved outdoor tracks. The tyre is now available in AKA’s Clay compound and while the standard Super Soft compound will hit the stores beginning of February. Included with each pair come AkA’s red inserts.
