JConcepts Mirage WSE SS, ’93 Worlds Special edition scoop body

New from JConcepts is the Mirage WSE SS 1993 Worlds Special edition scoop RC10 body.  During the 1993 IFMAR World Championships, Brian Kinwald emerged victorious with a slightly modified version of the tried-and-true Mirage SS body shell for the RC10.  According to IFMAR rules, it was illegal to cut or vent bodies without a proper shape, scribed area, or scoop inlet for such. Just for the event, a special shell was created with a scoop on the speed control side, so team racers could add vent holes or cut-outs.  JConcepts has resurrected this world special edition body (WSE) and is now available to complete those signature builds.  The Mirage WSE is the quintessential RC10 body, the stance, the lines, the flow, all represent a generation of racers who could trim, mount, and stylise a vehicle on their own.  The shell arrives with no scribed cutlines or body mount holes.  This gives the builder the opportunity to trim to the project image that is in mind.  In this generation, you could mount the body high, with smaller window outlines, or drop to a race height with larger windows for the most slammed look on the track.  The body arrives clear in .030” thickness polycarbonate material and includes window mask for both the small, and large windows to tailor the look to individual needs.

Sweep Orbit 1:10 4WD front tyre

Another new tyre release from Sweep Racing is their 1:10 4WD Orbit front tyre which has been developed for hard packed or oily dirt track conditions.  Featuring a unique tread pattern that provides maximum forward bite and an easy drive, the new Orbit 4WD front tyre is available in a new ultra soft (GM) compound as well as super soft (YM), soft (SM), medium (BM) which provide less ballooning and increases lifespan.

Sweep Super Carbides 1:8 Buggy tyres

Sweep Racing has announced its new Super Carbides 1:8 Buggy tyre.  Designed for hard packed and blue groove or loose dusty track conditions, they get an improved V6 carcase.  The new carcase design features rounded sidewall to improve corner feeling and give better wide contact with the surface.  The pin size remains the same as it’s original Carbides.

MIBO CA Tire Glues & Activator Sprays

MIBO has added to its range of accessories with three new specially developed CA Tire Glues and two Activator Sprays.  For Onroad classes with rubber tires, the onroad CA Tire glue’s low viscosity enables it to seamlessly permeate the tiniest gaps, ensuring a robust and dependable bond.  The 20g bottle’s compact design ensures precise application, guaranteeing maximum control and accuracy during use.  The Offroad glues medium viscosity provides a strong and reliable bond between the surfaces to be bonded, while at the same time allowing even the smallest of gaps to be penetrated without problems.  Every offroad racer will also appreciate the larger, 50g pack in a compact bottle for maximum precision in glue application.  Third option, the MIBO Racing Foam CA Tire Glue, is developed for classes with foam tires.  The special viscosity of the glue results in a strong and reliable bond between the surfaces to be bonded.  The CA Activator Spray dramatically speeds up the curing process with the Onroad spray coming in 150ml size with a bigger 200ml size for Offroad.

WMH Racing 550 Load Master | Analyzer Test Holder

Donathen RC has announced the addition of another two WMH Racing products, the 550 (4 pole) Load Master and 550(4pole) Analyzer Test Holder.  The 550 Load Master is a device to be used with a motor analyzer to measure how your motor would work in real world conditions (like when it’s on the track).  The 550 Analyzer Test Holder is designed to hold your 550 brushless motor, instead of using the alligator clips that come with the units.  Features & specs for the Load Master are that it plugs into any motor analyzer and has colour coded wires to identify A, B and C poles,  With vented sides it is supplied complete with 9″ motor wires and 275mm sensor wire as well as a Resistor bank and coupler.  Made in the USA, the Load Master is supplied in a protective carry case.

JConcepts RM2 Ghost Gear grease

JConcepts, together with RM2 have released a new friction and noise reducing gear grease to the range which it is calling Ghost Gear Grease.  The grease is something to drop in against plastic-to-plastic gear applications making it perfect for 2WD buggy transmission assemblies with inline gears and lightweight 4WD buggies converting to plastic gear materials for lighter weight performance.  Ryan Maifield, knows the importance of having a smooth running, quiet and free running gearbox and has spent considerable time searching out the combination that belongs in his race cars.  While many of the gear lubes available in the RM2 line-up are for metal gears or assemblies, the Ghost is specifically designed for plastic gears found on many of the 1:10 offroad vehicles.

JConcepts F2 SCT low-profile height body

JConcepts has released the F2 body for SCT trucks as its latest body for Short Course racing and bashing.  The concept is simple, lower the roof line, improve functionality of air-release louvers, incorporate the latest number and name plate performance geometry, while providing an edginess to the design.  The F2 has always been a unique design, now, the Short Course gets the IFMAR World Championship winning treatment.  The design starts at the front-end with high impact looks of a large format canvas in the grille and headlight area.  The included decal sheet can be used to stealth out the entire front-end with blank decals or go for two of the different and highly detailed looks of the light and signal appearance found on passenger vehicles.  In the hood area, there is a large cut-in feature with trim-lines allowing the user to add additional air escape holes.  The fenders are hard-edged, provide plenty of clearance for racing and bash tires and blend straight into the F2 design.

Factory Team Diff Decoder 17mm 1:8 Wheel Hex Adapter

To enhance the tuning capabilities of its Diff Decorder in 1:8 offroad vehicles, Factory Team has introduced a 17mm wheel hex adapter.  Now, mechanics can quickly and easily check and compare differential hardness unobtrusively at the wheels using this handy option.  Launched earlier this year the Diff Decoder displays a consistent, measured value for differential hardness rather than relying on an estimation or feeling. This measurement can be used to build differentials to a specific hardness, fine-tune to improve vehicle performance, understand the differences between oil brands and temperature, or to replicate an existing differential.
