Xray XB808 CVD drive axles

New from Xray for the XB808 are these CNC-machined CVD drive axles, which have been made from premium lightweight Swiss 7075 T6 hardcoated aluminium. Strategically-machined, super-lightweight drive axles are specially designed and produced for high-competition racing. The reduced weight is almost 3x less than the stock wheel axle, with a total weight saving of up to 20g for all 4 wheel axles. Precision machined with highest tolerances using premium fully-automatic German CNC-machines. High-quality hard coating is done at Xray’s own in-house fully-robotic hard coating line, ensuring a perfect hardcoated surface every time.

K-Factory TM G4 WC Upgrade set

K-Factory have released an upgrade kit for the Team Magic G4 in time for the World Championships later this month in Lisbon, Portugal. Suitable for the full range of G4 chassis’, the set features amongst other things, adjustable roll centres, split bumper design to best absorb impact, while the chassis has been CNC machined from a special material to enhance the strength.

Caster Racing Big bore shocks

Caster Racing have released these new gun metal grey anodized aluminium big bore shock kits. Sold as a pair, the front and rear have different part numbers for buggy. Also supplied with blue springs, they claim to be unbelieveable quality for the price. These should also work on various other manufacturers chassis’ with little or no modification necessary and everything is included except shock oil, which is sold separately.

New from JConcepts is this Illuzion D4 Scoopless body which has gone radical and now sports a new low profile appearance. This new shell has been dressed with a newly designed cab which incorporates a noticeably missing cab scoop, while the styling presents a smooth yet detailed design, incorporating many of the features from the original BJ4 Worlds Edition and B44 Hi-Flow body. Race inspired aggressive styling, Illuzionized cab and durable design are just some of the features that make up the new Illuzion D44 Scoopless body. Made from heavy-duty thickness polycarbonate with protective film, the body is supplied with two 6.5” high downforce V-wings as well as window masks and detailed Illuzion decal sheet.

Elements Trekker Rally Cross tyre

New from Elements for 2008 is the Elements Trekker Rally Cross tyre, developed by top UK and EU racers with the goal of creating massive forwards traction, awesome side bite and more acceleration. To complete these objectives the tread design has been optimized with the triangular central section being able to cut into the surface for unparalleled forwards traction, while the outer edge of the tyre has also been worked on to give excellent cornering characteristics by stiffening up the side wall under load with the bars. The final stage was to reduce the overall diameter of the tyre to reduce weight and gain more acceleration. The compound was then optimized for all conditions which resulted in the all round S-Medium compound. This tyre proved to work on every surface from astro to clay to grass in every condition possible. Not happy with just an awesome all round tyre the developing racers wanted something a little softer for that little edge when they need it, we found the R-Soft compound! This compound gives excellent traction in all conditions. The Elements Trekker tyres come packaged in pairs with the proven Edit Black Soft Inserts.
