Associated RC8 Braces & Factory team pipes

Team Associated have released a number of new parts for gas off road racers, including new exhaust systems and parts for the RC8. First up is the Factory Team 1/8 scale muffler, which features a 3-chamber design that provides a great combination between bottom end punch and top end performance and is available in both polished and non stick, easy to clean, black. Associated also offer a new off road manifold which is available only in non stick black. For the company’s RC8 buggy, there is a front and rear chassis brace that helps increase chassis stiffness, a great tuning option for high grip conditions where you want to reduce chassis flex. Includes nylon locking insert for added security.

New Era Firestorm Big block conversion

If you have ever wanted to put big block power into your 1/10th scale HPI Firestorm truck, then New Era will help you do that with their newly release big block conversion. The kit which includes a billet aluminium forward engine mount, a billet aluminium rear engine mount and a steel throttle return spring makes installing .21 or larger sized engine very easy. It even fits bigger motors with the car shown in the pictures fitted with a pull start Ofna .28 engine.

Robitronic Sealed Ball Bearings

Robitronic have announced the release of new sealed ball bearings, in standard sizes, for off road racing. Available with either steel or ceramic balls, both types are fitted with rubber gaskets to prevent dirt entering the bearing and damaging them. All bearings come pre oiled for high rpm usage and fit a variety of applications with the 5x10x4mm ball bearings ideal for use as clutch bearings. Robitronic now also sell ceramic balls in both 2.4mm and 3mm diameters and are supplied in a pack of 12, making them ideal for ball differentials.

Trinity RC8 Aluminium Upgrades

Trinity have announced the release of a number of new Billet Aluminum hop-ups or the Team Associated RC8. Included in the range a new center bulkhead top plate, steering rack and not pictured, a new front and rear shock tower. All parts have been precision machined from aircraft grade aluminum and hard anodised for more strength and super close tolerances.

All Mod Heavy Load clutch bells

MID in Germany have announced the released of two new clutch bells for use on the All Mod Heavy-Load clutch system. Previously only available in 13T, 14T and 15T, the new 28mm diameter steel bells are now sold in 16T and 17T, and both are now available to buy.

Team Azarashi Front & Rear wings

Japanese company Team Azarashi have written an update on their site on the development of some new front and rear wings. The new rear wing provides less downforce than the company’s previous wing giving more controllable handling, while a new front wing helps smooth the airflow over the buggy, helping reduce turbulence on the rear wing. Both wings are still under development but are expected to go on sale before the end of the year.
