All Mod, the optional parts brand from MID in Germany, have added two new items to their current product line up. First up, which you can see above, is this grey anodised aluminium air filter carrier for .21 and .28 off road engines which claims to allow 40% more air into the engine, while not compromising the filtering process. Also from All Mod are some new capped wheel nuts that are suitable for all off road axles with a 17mm thread.

Japanese company, Team Azarashi, have announced their new lightweight rear buggy wing that will be available for sale in May. 20% lighter than the standard version this new wing will aid those racers that are looking for the smallest fraction of seconds to improve their performance. This product is sold as a set, that contains both the round-type (above) for technical courses and a straight type for high-speed courses.

A few months ago JConcepts released their effective and really cool looking Illuzion buggy wing and at that time it was only available in white and yellow. Today they announced that this wing will now be available in black, and just to recap about the product itself, it is designed for both 1/8th buggies and truggies and features durable through-rib design and recessed side dams for extra decal protection.

JConcepts also released some Ball Cup sets which are designed to fit all 1/10th scale off-road vehicles and come in black, white and yellow. Designed with performance as well as aesthetics in mind these newly designed low-profile ball cups have been designed for extra durability and added ‘wheel to tie-rod’ clearance. The set comes with 4 left and 4 right low profile ball cups, as well as 12 normal ball cups, included per package.

Trinity have announced the release of their new ‘Grand Stand’, which is a folding car stand designed to hold the all R/C vehicles from 1/16th cars and trucks up to the biggest 1/7th scale monster trucks. Constructed using a light weight molded composite, and screw assembled, the Trinity patented design allows the “Grand Stand” to be folded down flat for easy storage in your pit box. Axial Racing 28RR Spec 1 Engine

Axial Racing have announced the release of their 28RR Spec 1 Engine that is suitable for truggies and monster trucks. The 28RR is designed to rev higher while still maintaining superior levels of torque and the rather nice cooling head helps to lower center of gravity as well as increase cooling capacity.

The 28RR Spec 1 is a .28 cubic inch big block engine featuring a machined cast aluminum heat-sink head for extra cooling, dual bushing aluminum connecting rod, true ABC chrome sleeve construction for durability, and a three needle 9.0mm slide carburetor (including 8.0 & 8.5mm optional venturi’s) with a composite body for better performance at higher temperatures. The carburetor features a factory re-set line on the high speed needle, and flush needles making re-setting, to baseline factory specifications, quick and easy.

Xtreme Racing have released these attractive and functional carbon fibre parts for the ultra popular and competitive Losi 8ight and 8ight T. First off is this shock tower, shown above, that is for the rear of the Losi 8ight buggy and is made from 4mm carbon fibre and sports an extra hole for more adjustment. Also available are a set of 2 carbon brake discs that are suitable for the both the buggy and truggy whilst for the truggy, Xtreme have released front and rear 4mm shock towers for weight savings, strength, looks and more adjustment.

New Kyosho big bore shock absorbers

Our mate Phil, over at the Neo Buggy Industries, has the first exclusive shots of the all new big bore shock absorbers for the Kyosho inferno. These shocks have been seen on the cars of Yuichi Kanai and Cody King at this weeks Silver State race, but World Champ Mark Pavidis didnt get a set, and by the looks of them they are in the pre production stage of development. For those techies out there i can inform you that the new shocks have an outside body diameter of 18mm with an inner diameter of 16mm and the pistons currently have 4 holes.
