Sworkz module 0.8 motor pinion gears for 1:8 electric

Sworkz has introduced a new 0.8 pitch motor pinion gear ratio system to help improve eBuggy speed of its 1:8 electric buggy, truggy and GT platforms. The high density motor pinion gear ratio systemCompared to the original 1.0 pitch spur gears, gives you more feedback and perfect feeling while driving. The acceleration change is significantly quicker yet smoother. More range is provided from lower torque to higher speeds. Available in 6 motor pinion gear sizes (19/20/21/22/23/24T) and 4 different centre spur gears (57/58/59/60T).

Agama N1 1:8 Buggy

Nemo Racing has just published a full presentation of their new Agama N1 which has gone on pre-order. The British brand has shown the pre production N1 before with Lee Martin racing it a number of international events including the World Championship but has now launched full details of the new 1:8 buggy platform. Introducing the N1 which features an unconventional suspension set-up, Nemo Racing say, ‘After years of development our revolutionary design concept is finally realised with the production N1. Its unique suspension creates an incredibly low COG (Centre of Gravity) race car, while our engineering teams years of experience has pushed us to ensure that not only is it fast, but it’s the easiest car to work on in its class. Lower COG makes the N1 more consistent to drive while being able to hold higher corner speeds than your average 1/8th buggy. Its not just in the corners where the N1 excels, through bumps it stays very flat with less tendency to want to flip over and in the air the N1 flies very low and stable as its unique clean aerodynamics have a tremendous effect, working the rear wing to maximum efficiency’

VP Pro Medium Tyre Mounting bands

Following on from the release of their new mounting bands specifically for Truggy and Monster Truck tyres, VP Pro has now released a medium version of the bands for 1:8 Buggy and 1:10 Short Course, MT and Truggy use. Made from high-elasticity silicone rubber and finished in VP-Pro Brilliant Blue, they come supplied as a pack of four bands.

Mugen MBX8 optional clutch shoes for E2723 V2 Clutch

Mugen has released new optional clutch shoes for the E2723 V2 Clutch (4-Shoe). The 1 dot aluminium clutch shoe has a slightly smoother feeling on acceleration because it slips less than the standard E2718 aluminium clutch shoe. The 1 dot shoe work well for buggy and on lower grip conditions. The 2 dot aluminium clutch shoe has a slight more aggressive feeling on acceleration without slipping. The 2 dot shoes work well for buggy and truck when you need more aggressive acceleration or when traction is high. The combination of two carbon shoes (E2717) with one 1 dot aluminium and one 2 dot aluminium shoes is a great combination for most conditions.

SWORKz has release a completely revised the tool line and launched the SST-Pro line. The handles are made of high-quality plastic and are ergonomically perfectly shaped. Tool tips are made of high-strength steel and adapted to the needs of RC car sports. The available tools include HEX Wrench (1.5, 2.0, 2.5mm), Ball HEX Wrench (2.0, 2.5mm), 150mm flat screwdriver, Spring Caster Clip hook, body shell reamer, shorty socket driver (7.0, 5.5mm), shorty Hex Wrench (5.0mm).

Corsatec CTN7 1:8 Buggy nitro engine

Corsatec has just published details of its first product, the top of the line CTN7 1:8 Buggy nitro engine. Built with a high precision die cast pressure injected black coated aluminium crank case and combined with long stroke precision balanced DLC black coated crankshaft with silicon insert it produces a smooth powerband making it very ease to drive while giving instant crisp throttle response. The carburetor features a single bottom needle for easy tuning while providing excellent fuel efficiency giving the racer a strategic advantage during the long finals. The lightweight aluminium machined piston is hand selected to perfectly match the 7 port sleeve. Finally high quality ball bearings both front and rear, with double seals at the front end for better protection and ceramic at the rear supporting the crank shaft, longer life and smoother operation is achieved. Designed, developed and produced in Europe from the expert World Champions Adrien Bertin and David Ronnefalk we are excited to supply the racers around the world with a product reaching the highest performance standards.

Reds Racing 721 Superveloce Pro Gen3

Reds Racing has announced a new 3rd generation of 721 Superveloce 3.5cc off-road engine. The Pro Gen3 features a completely redesigned cooling head for lower centre of gravity for better car handling, improved aerodynamics for a lower drag and improved engine cooling. Also new is the rear bearing for increased durability and reliability. The engine is suitable for tracks where a more powerful engine will give you an advantage. It was used at the 2022 Worlds by Reds Team drivers when Juan Carlos Canas made 3rd place in the main final. The Superveloce is a classic 3.5cc 7 ports engine, a feature that has now become REDS Racing trademark, it can be used for both 1:8 buggy and truggy.
