Fresh from Exotek Racing for the B6.3, B6.2 etc laydown gear boxes comes some new hard anodised idler gears. Machined from 7075 alloy there is a 39T and 26T idler gear which is a must have for high powered racing applications. This is much stronger than the stock plastic idler gear but not indestructible so it is important to use black or white grease on the gears and reapply frequently to prolong its life along with proper slipper adjustments.
T-Works have releases these front and rear shock tower sets for the Team Associated RC8 T3.2. Both towers have been machined from high quality carbon fibre, the front using 5mm while the rear uses 4mm, and come supplied with short shock standoffs. Also supplied with the necessary fasteners to mount the shocks.
From PSM for your Mugen MBX8 are new front and rear shock towers featuring an optimised geometry. On the front tower the upper shock holes have been moved +0.5mm up compared to the stock shock tower. In addition the upper shock holes have been spaced different for simplified setup options. The upper shock holes on the rear towers have been moved +0.5mm up and spaced differently, compared to the stock shock tower. In addition the upper link holes have been optimised for simplified setup options.

New from Ultimate Racing are these useful 1/8 offroad insert rubber rings. Manufactured to fit into each of the insert’s grooves, once fitted the insert is practically fixed to the rim. In this way, the insert is prevented from moving laterally, improving stability in fast corners. It also prevents the insert from ballooning making the car much more stable under acceleration. They can be used on most inserts, wheel brands and compounds, but their effects are greatest on soft compound tires. Depending on whether you want the insert to be more or less fixed, they can be used in all three grooves, in two or only in one. They are sold in bags of 50 pieces so that you can assemble from 4 to 12 complete cars depending on the amount of rubber bands used per insert. Once the life of the tire is over, they can be reused as many times as you want.

T-Works have produced this line of hard coated aluminium shock bushings for the Associated RC10 series of buggies. For the B6.3 & 6.2 there is 10mm and 12mm versions while for the B74.1 there are 12.7mm versions. Very durable and lightweight each size is sold as a set of 4 pieces.
JConcepts introduce two new offerings for the monster truck class with the release of their new Knobs & Launch tires. The Knobs, simply named for their appearance of the irregular diamond shaped knobs which have step and overlapping features built in. JConcepts believes tire options in the class should replicate those used in major series events in the 1:1 world and the Knobs certainly do. The arrangement, pattern, and instances were a result of carving from an existing 1:1 tire and the results were fantastic. The Knobs excel in dirt or asphalt conditions where massive edging of the pins helps forward drive and side-bite. Replicated cuts helped turn the carcass into a low-profile tire giving it a racing stance like other successful JConcepts tires such as the Renegade. Both tires includes ‘React’ open cell inserts which support the upper carcass and sidewall under loaded conditions.

Team Associated have presented the latest release in their monster truck line-up. The Rival MT8 is a powerful, purposeful and built-to-last 1:8 scale monster truck capable of running on a single 6S or 4S LiPo battery. Its strength lies at the very core of this beast with its high-performance 2100kv high-torque Reedy brushless motor, 4mm aluminium main chassis with rigid aluminium centre chassis supports and a four-position adjustable wheelie bar. The truck features long-travel independent suspension that is managed by four 16mm big bore threaded aluminium bodied, fluid-filled, adjustable, coil-over shocks, giving the Rival MT8 the ability to roll over just about anything in its path. SWorkz have released the new Dirt Edition S12-2D 1/10 2wd EP buggy. The geometry of the car has been optimised for corner speed and ease of handling on dirt conditions and on medium to low grip carpet tracks. The S12-2D features a new dirt version gear box system, fitted on a new T7075 hard anodised and lightweight aluminium chassis, with a new layout that allows up to 6 different battery positions. The flex of the chassis can also be changed by adjusting the side guards. it also comes with a brand new design 1/10 Pro-Shock System that has a new emulsion precision plastic shock caps and shock pistons with seals. The kit includes 4mm carbon front shock towers and a newly designed front C-Hub geometry. SWorkz Teflon coated shock shafts gives smooth action and the black line shock springs with a new designed, rotation protected spring holder, are standard in the kit too. Also new are the angled lower arms that provide a lower Shock position which leads to a lower centre of gravity. A neat feature is the quick release system for the ball differential, which can be mounted in 3 different positions. The rear lower arms are also angled and the rear shock tower of the S12-2D has got different height positions.
