JConcepts RC10GT rear shock tower

The most classic nitro stadium truck design in RC history, JConcepts has released a Carbon Fibre Rear Shock Tower option for the Team Associated RC10GT.  The stock vehicle comes standard with a fiberglass unit which carries all the original geometry; however, it lacks the pizzazz, strength, optional holes and appearance that 3.0mm Carbon Fibre can provide.  The new rear shock tower includes the Factory Team Truck geometry as well as the original for the best handling characteristics from that era.  The tower includes detailed reinforced areas adding strength in key areas as well as the improvement in material creates a more rigid feel, increasing the response in the rear-end.

RC-Project 1:8 Brushless Motor Mount

Italy’s RC-Project has released a new fan mount designed for 1:8 brushless motors with diameters ranging from 39 to 41.5mm.  Also compatible with 30mm and 40mm fans, it is made from a single piece of Ergal 7075 T6 offering high structural rigidity and lightweight properties and ensuring resistance to vibrations and stability during operation.  The surface treatment enhances corrosion and wear resistance.  The asymmetric design optimises airflow directed towards the motor, promoting more effective heat dissipation compared to competing solutions, this configuration allows for superior thermal management, reducing the risk of overheating and improving the motor’s operational efficiency and longevity.  An ideal choice for high performance even under demanding conditions.

Schumacher Azami 1:10 Offroad Tyre

Schumacher has added another new tyre to it’s 1:10 Offroad line-up, this time with the release of the Azami.  With the demands of carpet racing pushing tyres to the limit the British manufacturer is happy to give an alternative to the popular Cactus tyre by bringing out the Azami.  Their R&D team have developed a high density centre pin formation for durability and grip on CRC/EOS type carpets.  The outer pin formations give the car good side bite but without a compromise to the car’s steering.  The Azami can also work well on used carpet for an improved club driving experience.

Takashima D-13 404SBS-E Wireless 2.4G Receiver

Hong Kong’s Takashima D-13 has launched its latest 2.4G Receiver this time to work with the Futaba 10PX.  After six months of testing, they have produced a 2.4G wireless four-channel receiver that supports the F-4G communication protocol and which can be perfectly paired with the 10PX and supports software upgrades.  They have reduced the size of the receiver to 27.5 x 18.5 x 20.5mm which weighs in a just 6.5 grams.  Supporting a working voltage of 3.7-8.4V, unlike their previous Takashima D-13 receivers, they have also redesigned the case making the product better compatible with Futaba’s original servo plugs without the need for modification or trimming.

Willspeed B7 73mm Arm Wide Pivot C and D Block Set

Willspeed is now offering this 73mm Arm Wide Pivot C and D Block Set for the Team Associated RC10B7 2WD Buggy.  That’s right, a wide pivot set to be used with the 73mm Wishbone from the B6 series.
This increases the pivot width +5mm each side (10mm total) and MUST be used in conjunction with the AE #91853 or #91873 73mm Rear Suspension arms.

When used in conjunction with AE #91853 or #91873 73mm Rear Suspension arms this retains the original kit B7 position of the outside (Hub) Hinge Pin.
This leaves the track width unchanged but gives the short arm, wide pivot setup.   The wide pivot gives the car more on power steering and more stability when cornering and will allow the car to centre (square-up) faster coming through the last third of the turn as the driver is getting on power.

This product includes both C and D Blocks and must be used as a pair.

Both items follow design trends from our proven standard geometry parts.  D block remains in Willspeed’s full brace fashion which has been highly popular for ultimate reliability.
