New from T-Works comes this One Piece Servo Mount for the Team Associated RC10B7 2WD Buggy. Made from 7075-T6 Aluminium, its robust structure provides more effective protection for the servo, reducing wobbling at high speeds or during intense vibrations. The lightweight material also helps to reduce weights as well as adding durability over the kit mount.
Schumacher has released this chassis stiffening kit option part for their Cougar 2 Works, the UK manufacturer releasing the ‘classic’ of the legendary 2WD buggy at the end of last year. The chassis stiffener kit braces the centre to rear of the Cougar 2 Works chassis. This improves the consistency, and makes the car less susceptible to fore and aft flexing at the rear of the chassis. The kit can be assembled for forward or rearward LiPo position.
Invisible Speed, the platform created in 2020 by Joseph Quagraine to share over two decades of car set-up knowledge through books and online courses, has released its own complete Setup Station Pair, with Measurement Plate, Droop Blocks and Droop Gauge. The tool set is made for 1:8 Nitro and Electric Buggies, and includes many unique features, solving common problems, as well as improving the experience of setting up your car. Features include Camber Angle Wheel Plates that are wide enough to allow for full lock, in order to measure Ackermann, and Bump Steer at different wheel angles. These Camber Angle Wheel Plates rest on ball bearings, allowing for smooth stick free operation, allowing the car to settle at ride height. Droop Gauge with 0 as axle in line with bottom of chassis. Droop Blocks have space for balancing pins, holes to hold shocks or diffs while assembling, holders for soldering battery connectors, and a quick gauge for measuring droop with tyres on your car, 60-70mm steel ruler method.
JConcepts’ P2 body shell is now available for the Schumacher Cougar LD3 1:10 2WD buggy. A staple in the Florida company’s product line, the Punisher body shell design, started its time in offroad during the 2010 racing season. Over the course of a decade, the design team along with the racers have helped push the envelope and re-invent the Punisher along the way. The P2 design arrived just in time for the IFMAR Worlds in 2017 where the team tested and confirmed performance characteristics on the Xiamen, China track surface. The body arrives as clear polycarbonate with protective film and is available in standard and lightweight formed thickness. A popular and versatile JConcepts decal sheet is included while a simple instruction sheet covers the basics for new or inexperienced painters.
VP-Pro has released a new body for the Infinity IFB8 1:8 Nitro Buggy. Featuring an integrated shark fin on the cab, this helps adds stability and increases high speed handling. The low-slung design also features a laid-back windshield and long centre fin for ideal stability and side bite. New from Italian option parts brand RC-Project comes this 30-gram Rear Chassis Weight for the Team Associated RC8B4.1 1:8 Buggy. The latest weight features a redesigned structure that centralises mass distribution compared to the previous version. This update provides improved stability in high-speed corners and better responsiveness during direction changes. Unlike the previous model with a fixed position, the new version allows for forward weight adjustment, enabling fine-tuning of the mass distribution according to the driver’s specific needs. Additionally, the lower geometry has been revised to ensure a mount that minimises contact surface with the chassis, significantly enhancing the chassis torsion.
Xray has released new CFF (Carbon Fibre Fusion) lower arms for its X4 1:10 Electric Touring Car. The lower suspension arms feature optimised flexing under dampening and with the shock being mounted in the middle of the arm, the load is evenly distributed onto the suspension arm, which increases the mechanical traction, and response of the car. Graphite hardness of the lower suspension arms is recommended for carpet tracks and even for some high traction asphalt conditions. These will provide the most consistent handling and will make the car more free in corners compared to when H or M arms are used.
Xray has released a new lightweight complete set of aluminium steering blocks and with 7° caster C-hubs for their XB4 1:10 4WD Buggy. 30% lighter than previous version, their ultra-strong construction provides very long life and durability in even the most extreme racing conditions. CNC-machined from Swiss 7075 T6 aluminium and black coated, using the steering blocks in an aluminium material reduces flex, and improves consistency, and will free up the buggy. The set includes all 3 different graphite steering extensions – 1 dot, 2 dots, 3 dots.
