Vision Racing introduce new TLR 22 & AE 6.1 parts

Available now from Vision Racing are new carbon fibre optionals for the TLR 22 and Team Associated B6.1 series vehicles. First up is the Version 2 4mm carbon fibre motor plate for the TLR 22 5.0 buggy and TLR 22T 4.0 truck. It is 1mm thicker than stock which gives it more rigidity while still coming in a couple grams lighter. All edges have a nice chamfer for improved looks and quicker parts prepping. The second new item is the 2.5mm carbon fibre front wing brace. This part will work on the TLR 22 5.0 or Team Associated B6.1 using a lower wing mount. Lastly is the Version 2 carbon fibre rear wing brace for the TLR 22 5.0, again featuring a nice chamfer for cool looks and better part protection in the event of a crash.

Samix Enduro 8mm offset aluminium hex adapters

Samix have introduced their new 8mm offset aluminium hex adapters for the Element RC Enduro trail trucks. The wheel adapters are machined from high-quality aluminium and they are available in gun metal, blue or black anodising all of which feature machined silver edge details. The hex adapters are a direct fit, allow to adjust the truck’s overall track width and they come in sets of four including pre-installed set screws.

Maclan Racing 2020 Graphene V3 LiPo batteries

Coming from Maclan Racing are their new 2020 Graphene V3 LiPo batteries. The series offers different dimension profiles for both on and off-road with new ULCG case design packs of 19.5mm height for competitive on-road racing and an all-new 20mm height shorty for off-road competitions. All packs offer improved cell formulas with better weight/capacity ratio over the previous versions and available will be standard packs of 8500mAh (25.1mm/318g), 6800mAh (22.5mm/270g) and 5500mAh (19.5mm/230g). As for the shorty packs, these come as 6100mAh (25.1mm/225g), 4500mAh (20mm/165g) and 4000mAh (18.5mm/155g) variants. All are built using high-performance LiHV cells for a lower internal resistance, further improved overall performance and even greater durability.

Xray XB2’20 alloy rear roll centre holder

Coming from Xray and made for the XB2 2020 is an aluminium rear roll centre holder for the use with anti-roll bars. Machined from high-quality 7075-T6 aluminium and coming black anodised for surface protection and a factory look, the part offers greater stability and durability while offering three different inner camber link ball stud positions and the ability to use a rear anti-roll bar.

SWorkz S12/S14 Black Competition shock springs

SWorkz have introduced their new Back Competition line of 1/10th scale off-road springs. The design of the springs makes for a more linear performance, improving the vehicle’s jumping, landing and corner speeds, event in bumpy track conditions. The springs, that are usable for SWorkz’s S12 2WD and S14 4WD lines of buggies, come with laser-engraved markings for easy identification and they are available in three hardnesses for the front and rear each.

Avid NB48 2.0 carbon fibre shock towers

Avid have announced the release of their new carbon fibre shock towers for the Tekno RC NB48 2.0 buggy. The 5mm carbon shock stays are made from 100 percent carbon fibre, they feature a matte finish and cutouts for a nice look. In addition they are slightly chamfered on the front side to help avoid splitting or chipping on hard wrecks. They mimic the standard suspension geometry and remove about 33 of weight compared to the standard aluminium towers. The front and rear towers are sold separately or as a set.

LapMonitor introduce new waterproof transponder

LapMonitor have introduced a new transponder for its popular lap counting system. The new variant is fully compatible with the LapMonitor decoder and it can be used with up to 96 cars on the same track. The transponder is now water resistant and weights only 5g for the Molex connector version and 7g for the variant with a universal receiver plug.

WRC Racing SBX.1 1/8th nitro off-road buggy

Following a couple of teaser images on social media, WRC Racing from Italy have finally lifted the curtain and officially unveiled their all-new SBX.1 1/8th nitro off-road buggy. Known for their popular on-road kits, the SBX.1 buggy is a first for the company and it builds on a 7075-T6 aluminium chassis that is designed to adapt the vehicle to a wide range of track conditions. The drivetrain is equipped with CVD driveshafts throughout, it features an industry standard 3-differential drivetrain with hardened lightweight outdrives and included in the kit is also a 7075-T6 aluminium clutch with captured clutch bell. The designers adopted a pivot ball front steering knuckle setup for the suspension that allows a wide range of adjustments including caster, camber, upper roll centre, bump steering as well as track width. Front and rear arms are side to side interchangeable, and it is possible to choose three different hardness materials for each one, hard, medium or soft. The rear hubs are designed in order to allow a variety of upper camber link positions and to allow the adjustment of the upper and lower roll centre, camber gain and more. Other features of the buggy include front and rear 7075-T6 aluminium shock towers to which mount big bore shock absorber. The buggy is decked out by a cab forward body shell and it will become available very soon.
