Xray have announced the soon release of the XB4 2019 1/10th scale 4WD buggy kit. The latest incarnation of the company’s ultra-successful and IFMAR World Championship winning kit will hit stores very soon and full details and images are expected to surface shortly.

Coming from Novarossi is their new EFRA 2135 tuned exhaust pipe for 1/8th off-road vehicles. When combined with Novarossi’s 41021 manifold the Hipex-made pipe will offer increased overall performance while maintaining fuel consumption. The exhaust is a universal fit for most 1/8th off-road engines.

Coming soon from Traxxas is their updated E-Revo electric monster truck that received some subtle changes to further improve power, speed and strength. The truck features a new Maxx-Spec driveline that was inspired by the larger X-Maxx truck with the E-Revo sporting a sturdy all-metal drivetrain with reinforced diffs, gears and driveshafts. Also new for the 2019 E-Revo is self-righting ability that, with the simply press a button on the transmitter, in most circumstances, will bring the truck back on its wheels in just seconds. Armed with a fortified drivetrain, E-Revo’s VXL-6s power system now pounds out more tire-scorching motivation than ever before, all the way to more than 110km/h or 70mph. Advanced design and sophisticated microprocessor control make this the most punchy and reliable high-voltage VXL power system ever. Other features include new, larger Talon EXT wheels and tyres, new, beefier suspension arms, and more.
Exotek have introduced two new option parts for the Losi Rock Rey kits in the form of a heavy duty aluminium diff gear case and a stainless steel brake disk set. Starting with the diff case, the item was designed for the front or rear of the Losi Rock or Baja Rey vehicles. It includes bigger-than-stock steel diff screws to prevent blowing out the gear diff under heavy loads. Also new is a drilled stainless steel hex brake disk set for the Rey series of off-road cars. The 1-piece design combines the brake disk and wheel hex for increased durability and true wheel alignment. Drilled vented slots add realism and style to the ride. The set includes four brake disks and it is a direct fit.
Modelix Racing have introduced the new Ultimate Racing M3X square stroke 3.5cc nitro off-road engine. The O.S.-based power plant is of a 3-port design and was developed to produce maximum power while still offering exceptional tuneability and a linear power band. It comes with a high-quality steel rear bearing and a tungsten-balanced and silicone-filled crankshaft and is meant to be a more budget-friendly alternative to the M3T engine.

HRC Distribution have introduced their new TSW Pro Racing body reamer tool. The updated reamer now comes with a screw-on cap to protect both the tool tip while also offering protection for other tools and your fingers. An aluminium handle makes for a low weight while the hardened and gold-coloured tool tip ensures precise body post hole drilling thanks to its sharpness and etched size markings.

Team Associated have introduced their new Reflex 14T and 14B ready-to-run off-road vehicles. Both come out of the box already assembled, with a Reedy Power brushless speed control, brushless motor, high-torque digital steering servo, and 2.4GHz radio system. The adjustability offered by the turnbuckles, caster blocks, and rear hubs allow to adapt the suspension setup to various surface conditions. Additional features include three sealed differentials, aluminium steering rack, and lightweight aluminium centre driveshaft. The 14T comes with a pre-decorated truggy body shell while the 14B features a sleek buggy body. Both will hit stores in October.

RC Cars Cavalieri from Germany have introduced their new low profile carbon fibre shock towers for the Schumacher CAT L1 1/10th scale 4WD buggy. Shorter than the standard items the shock stays will lower the overall centre of gravity for improved corner speeds and greater overall grip. The towers are cut from 4mm high-quality carbon fibre and they have been successfully tested by 2017 German Junior Champion, Elias Ehrmann.
