Yeah Racing body post markers & 1/8 fan mount

Coming from Yeah Racing are two new items in the form of magnetic body post markers for 6mm posts and an aluminium fan mount for 1/8th scale motors. Starting with the magnetic post markers, the items help to precisely drill touring car body mount holes as they conveniently locate the body post position on both clear and painted body shells. The set consists of four aluminium body post maskers and four O-shaped magnets and using the tools is very easy as the clamping-style body post markers are simply attached to the body posts, then the body will be put on top and placed as needed. The four magnets will then be placed on top of the body posts from the outside, marking the body post positions while also holding the body in place. Through the magnet’s holes the body post positions can be marked using a sharpie pen and drilled using a reamer. The set is available in red or black colour.

T-Works MBX8 series Ver.2 carbon fibre shock towers

T-Works have introduced their new Ver.2 carbon fibre shock towers for the Mugen MBX8 and MBX8 Eco series of 1/8th off-road buggies. Coming as separate front or rear tower both are cut from high-quality 4mm carbon fibre with the rear tower offering additional mounting positions for the rear wing in order to adjust the overall centre of gravity or downforce.

FTX Kanyon 1/10 XL 4WD RTR trail truck

FTX have introduced their forthcoming new Kanyon 1/10 XL 4WD ready-to-run trail truck. The vehicle utilises a multi-link suspension featuring adjustable oil-filled shock absorbers and the high-torque 60T brushed motor drives a rugged, all metal output pinion, crown and transmission gears for extra reliability. Front universal driveshafts and centre telescopic sliding shafts keep the power connected to all wheels through high clearance front and rear locked axles. The Kanyon’s off-road inspired semi-scale bodyshell features a number of additional moulded accessories such as wheel arches, luggage tray, roll cage, front grill and head, tail and spotlights. To wrap things up 13 factory-installed LED lamps provide the necessary illumination for you to keep your rig on the trail long after the sun goes down. Aluminium front and rear bumper and body mounts provide a wide selection of optional positioning for possible aftermarket options. Supersoft aggressive lug pattern tyres are mounted to scale style wheels for a realistic finish. Mugen introduce new MBX8 & MGT option parts

Mugen have announced the soon release of two new option parts in the form of an updated rear shock tower for the MBX8 and MBX8 Eco as well as a battery connector holder for the MBX8 and MGT. Starting with the shock tower, the item offers the same shock and camber link geometries as the standard item, however additional, raised, mounting locations for the rear wing allow to add rear stability and traction when needed. The CNC-machined aluminium shock stay comes grey anodised for wear and to match the remainder of the buggy’s alloy parts.

T-Works carbon fibre servo mount spacers

T-Works have introduced a set of carbon fibre servo mount spacers. The set includes three pairs of 1.0mm, 2.0mm and 2.5mm spacers that can be used to space servos away from their mounts in order to either increase overall clearance or in order to optimise steering or throttle link geometries. The set contains two spacers of each thickness and it is available now.

Avid B6.1 titanium slipper screw

Coming from Avid and made for Team Associated’s B6.1 based vehicles is a titanium slipper screw. Using the part will reduce the drivetrain’s rotating mass while the pre-pinned design ensures everything is staying in place. The screw is made from billet 6Al-4V titanium, it scrubs about 50 percent of weight compared to the stock steel screw and it includes a spare pin and is usable with all B6.1, T6.1 and SC6.1 kits.

Xray XB8 series 2-way flow Delrin shock pistons

Xray have announced the release of their new 2-way flow Delrin shock pistons for the XB8 series of buggies, XT8 trucks and GTX on-road kits. The moulded pistons are of a special design with an additional rubber valve closing two of the given holes on up travel for increased pack of the dampers during compression. When the shock piston moved down again the rubber valves opens the two holes for quicker extraction. The result is increased stability upon landing or when tackling very rough terrain while the suspension returns quicker into normal ride height even when using a somewhat soft setup. The 2-way pistons are available in sets of two and as 5-hole, 6-hole or 8-hole variant and in the following specifications that you can view after the break.

Yeah Racing 1/10 crawler car stand

Yeah Racing have introduced their new car stand for 1/10th scale crawlers and other off-road vehicles. The swivel tube design allows to rotate the crawler and work on it from multiple angles while the overall height ensures the tyres do not touch the ground even when having a rig with huge suspension down travel. The stand is constructed from lightweight aluminium and it comes with foam tape which prevents the crawler from slipping around whilst on top of the stand.
