Coming from JConcepts and made for the Tekno RC EB410 buggy is the Fin titanium turnbuckle set. The focus of the styling surrounds the lengthened adjustment hex area and the “finned” cuts that rotate about the centre. The Fin turnbuckles are lightweight and the original design adds some bling to the car. The JConcepts turnbuckles are produced with left and right hand threads with the left being conveniently marked for easy orientation.
Coming from TWT is their new 1/8th off-road car stand. It is made from high-quality acrylic material and features a double decker design with the lower part incorporating four parts trays while the upper has four marked holes to take the vehicle’s shock absorbers or differentials during setup and maintenance. Anti-slip padding ensures the car stand, that is available in blue, red, black and gray colour, will not scratch the pit table and lower chassis surface while also making for a secure stand.
Hudy have added two new turnbuckle wrenches to their already existing line-up. Available as dual 3mm and 4mm variant as well as single 3.5mm tool, the wrenches are made from high-quality Hudy spring steel and they are precision shaped and hand-ground for a perfect fit and minimal stress on the turnbuckle.
Coming from T-Works and made for the Mugen MBX8 1/8th scale off-road buggy is a carbon fibre upper plate. The part was designed as a replacement for the standard moulded composite item and it includes the needed alloy shims and also a gold-plated steel screw kit. Using the carbon fibre plate will improve the rigidity of the front end of the buggy while adding visual impact at the same time.

The part is machined from high-quality material and designed to replace the standard composite plastic part for an item of higher precision and strength. JConcepts adds to the list of performance parts for the EB410 with a carbon fibre upper deck. The new upper deck offsets the position of the fan mount which allows several benefits. The first is the ability to use the JConcepts F2 body as the new carbon fibre part shifts the fan over to clear the low-profile cab of the body. The secondary benefit realised after testing the new upper deck is the ability to use a taller fan. This is a benefit not exclusive to the JConcepts body but to all low-roof body shell types because taller fans are typically more powerful and move more air. Another positive to the JConcepts carbon fibre upper deck is the slight position change of the fan allows some lower power fans to work better without the force of the motor magnets affecting the fan, bearings or rotation.
Coming from Answer-RC is a short carbon fibre rear shock tower for the HB Racing D8 series of buggies such as the D817, D817v2, E817, E817v2 and the D815. The shock stay is made from 5mm carbon rather than 4mm and has pockets machined for shock mount studs and camber link studs to keep the fitment the same. Using the short tower, in combination with #HB67289 shock bodies will lower the overall centre of gravity for reduced chassis roll at high cornering speeds. In addition it is 6 grams lighter than the standard shock tower.
