Exotek D216 aluminium main chassis plate

Coming from Exotek and made for the HB Racing D216 2WD buggy is a machined 7075 aluminium main chassis plate. It is designed to provide a more consistent handling and lowered CG for today’s highly groomed indoor tracks. The plate is machined with a chamfered edge on the bottom to improve ground clearance and the top is machined to a have 2.5mm thick main section to reduce weight and 4mm thick side rails area to maintain stiffness. Also machined pockets are added throughout to reduce weight, bringing it to 145g. The chassis works with the stock side rails or the Exotek D216 carbon side rails.

Reedy Sonic 866 & 877 1/8th brushless motors

Coming from Reedy are two new Sonic-series 1/8th scale competition electric brushless motors in the form of the 866 and 877. The Sonic 866, available in two kV versions, is designed for 1/8th eBuggies while its slightly longer brother, the Sonic 877, is intended for 1/8th eTruggy duty. However, motors are interchangeable between chassis types to create a wide range of performance options suitable for a wide variety of track conditions. All versions feature a precision machined case with an integrated heat sink to lower operating temperatures. This results in less fade over the course of a race, longer run times, and increased motor life. Sensored operation results in a smooth and controllable power band, while a powerful 4-pole rotor is supported by precision ball bearings for maximum power output and reliability.

Tekno EB410 13.5 Performance Bundle package

Coming from MIP and made for the Tekno EB410 4WD buggy is the Pucks 13.5 Performance Bundle package. Designed for the growing 13.5T stock class, the set is an aluminium based drivetrain system that features an all-new redesigned 2-piece aluminium bi-metal bone and alloy steel yoke, two front 78mm bones and two rear 69mm bones as well as the name-giving 1.5 Pucks. The latter increase the longevity of the drive system by reducing the wear and tear between the pins of the bone and slots of the cups. SMC Low Rider modified motor

SMC have introduced the somewhat radical Low Rider 540-size modified brushless motor. Designed to offer maximum drivability with a linear power delivery and still tons of top end, the motor also features a minimised the outer diameter, shedding the useless can and shrinking the length as much as the rules allow to. The small package drops the weight more than 17 percent from SMC’s Totemic Modified platform. And by utilising the new diameter, the mounting holes are offset to lower the motor in the motor mount. This leads to a light motor slung way down in your chassis.
