HRC Distribution have introduced their new HRC Racing large crawler luggage trays for 1/10th scale trail trucks. Available in black or silver, the roof racks are of a scale design and feature four bright LED lights and a spare wheel location for an even more realistic appearance. Each kit includes the necessary hardware and it fits many of today’s trail truck body shells.
Available now from Breathless Racing Products is the BK’s ball cup pliers. Developed in cooperation with 1/10th off-road icon Brian Kinwald, the tool allows to easily attach ball cups on pretty much any 1/10th vehicle while saving the mechanic’s fingers and the car’s shiny aluminium as they focus the force on the ballstud itself and eliminate the need for using fingers or pliers on the surrounding parts.

Coming from Yokomo is the new Racing Performer Ultra dirt spec range of springs for 1/10th off-road buggies. Developed with the help of Yokomo’s Ryan Maifield, Lee Martin and Shin Adachi, these springs provide a very linear suspension feel as well as increased traction, stability, and jumping/landing on dirt surfaces. The colour-coded springs are available as hard, medium and soft front as well as hard and soft rear variants and they will ship early February.

Coming from JConcepts and made for the Team Associated B64 series of 4WD buggies is a lower front wing and nose cone. The lower wing is an option to the tower mounted front wing that has shown to produce enhanced steering characteristics. The package includes the lower front wing and the nose cone on the same mould. The nose cone is similar to what would be found on a 1/8th off-road buggy. The lower front wing can be painted, left clear or frosted for the desired look, fit and finish.
MCD Racing have announced the soon release of the RR5-Max Pro 1/5th scale buggy and a 2-speed gearbox. As for the buggy, the kit will include a new long wheelbase chassis as well as some of the most useful option parts to make the kit race-ready from the get go while the new 2-speed gearbox improves both acceleration and top speed of MCD’s on-road and off-road kits. Both products will be on show during this week’s Nuremberg International Toy Fair and more information should become available soon.
Coming from T-Works and made for Kyosho’s ZX6.6 and ZX6 1/10th 4WD buggies are front and rear CV-style driveshafts. They are machined from high-quality steel material, come with a black surface coating for wear and they are available in standard or “left thread” variants, the latter include a single left thread wheel axle and wheel nut that prevent the nut from accidentally loosen itself during a run. JConcepts is bringing back the Finnisher style stadium truck body shell for the T4.3 Qualifier Series vehicle by Team Associated. The body has been updated to include pre-dimpled locations for the body mounts and the the slight cab forward, raked windshield and aggressive stance highlight a performance oriented core. A revised front hood scoop allows plenty of clearance for the unique geometry while smoothing out the front down force area. Front chin spoiler, headlight and grill protect the front-end from unwanted up-drafts during flight while the supplied decals stand-out like an 18 wheeler. The body comes clear, including window masks and decal sheet and it fits the T4.3 and T4.1 trucks but, from what is understood, not the T4.2 due to the truck’s different front suspension setup.
Muchmore have introduced their new Fleta ZX8 low cogging torque 1/8th scale electric brushless motor. It features an all-aluminium heatsink design case with Flow-Max technology for lower operation temperatures as well as high RPM super low-friction ball bearings for increased performance and improved efficiency. Other features include adjustable timing in a 0 to 10 degrees range, dual sensor access ports for convenient wiring as well as a 4-pole, 8-magnet staggered pole rotor for smooth throttle control. The motor measures 69mm x 42.5mm and it comes in a 1900kV variant.
