T-Works have introduced their new graphite radio tray support mount for the HB Racing D817, D817T and RGT8 kits. The set includes a complex radio tray stiffener machined from carbon fibre that braces the steering and throttle servo area while also reinforcing the receiver and receiver battery box. An additional lower brace further stiffens up the assembly. Included in kit is also a machined aluminium bushing and gold-anodised hardware.
The latest in the line of RC Maker’s digital camber and toe gauges are two variants for 1/10th and 1/8th EP and GP off-road cars. They comprise of two different versions, one for 1/10th EP 2WD and 4WD buggies, and one for 1/8th EP and GP buggies and trucks. This allows to digitally measure the camber, camber gain and toe on all off-road vehicles. Consisting of an aluminium and carbon fibre construction, they are built to very tight tolerances accurate to within 0.01 degrees over a 4-degree range. This ensures precise and replicable camber and toe. The gauge itself features a backlit screen with big numbers for easy viewing in day and night, as well as “auto off” and “zero” functions to be able to zero to the setup board surface no matter what angle it is on. The gauge also features very easily replaceable AAA batteries and comes with a velvet storage pouch to keep it looking and functioning like new.
Leadfinger Racing have introduced their newly redesigned Tactic 1/10th off-road rear wing and stabiliser. The wing has a widened centre section to easily fit many popular platforms, and is specifically designed for a variety of today’s track surfaces; from indoor turf to outdoor clay. The vented design allows the wing to be left uncut for increased rear traction when needed; or can be cut out, allowing passing air to escape for higher traction conditions such as blue groove clay and turf tracks. When reaming multiple holes was the only option, the new performance enhancement of the Tactic wing allows for more precise tuning without the sacrifice of durability. Two pre-cut wings come per package.
Kyosho have introduced a 5-link conversion kit for the Mad and FO-XX series of off-road trucks. The set contains all needed parts to convert the truck to 5-link specification while also including a 4WD rear steering system and front and rear stabilisers. The set is usable on the Mad Force Kruiser 2.0, FO-XX and the Mad Crusher, however the latter already comes equipped with a 5-link setup. In addition the 4WD conversion and stabiliser sets are also available separately to outfit the EP and GP Mad Force Kruiser 2.0, FO-XX and Mad Crusher trucks.
Revolution Design Racing Products have introduced their new aluminium steering rack Type B for the Team Associated B64 1/10th 4WD buggy. It is a direct replacement for the brittle standard composite part, machined from aircraft-grade 7075-T6 aluminium and it comes blue or black anodised. The increased overall rigidity will also help with steering emphasis, enhancing the steering feeling especially in high-bite track conditions. Compared to the standard AE or RDRP part, the optional Type B rack will make for improved steering feeling over the whole steering range without adding extra steering. RDRP’s team drivers comment: “The main feeling was that the steering has more feel. [And] half steering feels more like half steering”. The rack can be used with the standard or RDRP’s optional #0401 aluminium steering bellcrank set.
Coming from Raceform and made for the Tekno EB410 1/10th 4WD buggy are new polycarbonate front and rear shock towers as well as an electronic tray. Starting with the shock stays, the parts are machined from 6mm thick high-quality polycarbonate and they are a direct replacement for the standard aluminium shock towers. The race proven material will flex enough to protect the gearboxes and shock standoff while being sturdy enough to keep its geometry during normal use. The shock towers are available in a set of three, containing the front tower, a standard and a -2mm rear tower.
Diggity Designs have released their new product line for the Tekno RC EB410 1/10th 4WD off-road buggy. First up are front and rear shock towers made from 4mm carbon fibre. The parts match the stock geometry and are a direct replacement for the standard aluminium items.
Made for MST’s CFX-W truck are brass portal axle covers from Samix. The parts are machined from high-quality material, they add 40g weight per pair and their rigid construction improves the overall durability of the vehicle’s drivetrain. Their black surface coating protects the covers while making for enhanced aesthetics at the same time.
