RDRP B64 brass suspension mounts

The new Revolution Design Racing Products brass suspension mounts for the Team Associated B64 series of buggies are direct replacement for the kit’s lightweight parts. They add valuable weight especially when running in high-traction conditions or when the track is getting bumpier. Machined from black-coated brass and sporting gold-colour chamfered edges the parts weigh in at 14g for the A LRC mount, 13g for the B LRC mount, 14g for the C mount and 15g for the D mount, which shifts the weight bias further to the front or rear of the buggy, depending on the location of the brass hangers. Using the front A and B brass mounts will result in an easier to drive buggy while the rear C and D mounts add traction out of and rotation into corners. Using the brass suspension mounts all-round will add valuable weight when running on very bumpy and/or grippy tracks. All mounts were designed to work with the original #92014 arm mount inserts and they are best used in pairs at the front or the rear.

Yeah Racing TRX-4 brass portal axle covers

Yeah Racing have introduced brass portal axle covers for the Traxxas TRX-4 trail truck. The parts are machined from high-quality material, they weigh in at 42g and add valuable weight to the suspension and wheel area which can be beneficial when attacking trails and all sorts of terrain. Each set includes two covers and they are available very soon.

Avid RC8B3 & MBX7 FastTune camber shims

Coming from Avid and made for the Team Associated RC8B3 and Mugen MBX7 buggies are the FastTune camber shims. The parts are made from aluminium and designed to allow to easily adjust the camber on popular pillow ball designs without having to fully unthread them. The tab feature helps to keep them in place as the pillow ball is tighten down. The shims are available separately as 6-piece 0.5mm or 1mm set and also as 8-piece combo set, containing four each.

JConcepts S2 8ight-E 4.0 buggy body shell

JConcepts have introduced the S2 body shell for the TLR 8ight-E 4.0 buggy. The S2 design, originally made popular for the 1/10th off-road crowd, had a lot of influence over this design. It sports a forward cab, low-profile stance with channeled roof and rear stabilising fin. The front of the pods have deep pocketed and “force-bars” channel some air in a much needed forward position while also providing a more rigid feel to the body. The low-profile side-pods whisk over the electrical and step where necessary and the rear wicker section improves rear-end grip and tightens up the handling. The clear body set includes window templates and a decal sheet and it is a direct fit on the 8ight-E 4.0.

PR Racing 1/10th Pro buggy front & rear tyres

PR Racing have introduced their range of Pro series 1/10th buggy tyres. Available for 2WD buggies are a bar and a rib-type front tyre, the 4WD front range includes a block and a pin/bar tread while the three rear variants include a bar-type and two block type tyres. It is understood that all come in a single compound and in addition to the tyres PR Racing also offers suitable closed cell and also open cell memory foam inserts.

Vision Racing TLR 22-4 2.0 18.5mm shorty battery brace

VRP 1/8th off-road Pro Droop Gauge

Coming from Vision Racing Products is their new Pro Droop Gauge for 1/8th off-road vehicles. The gauge attaches to the upper shock mounting nuts and allows to easily measure the overall shock length. It features easy to read measurement marks that range from 100mm to 135mm, making the droop usable for both buggies and trucks, and there are two types available, a TLR style that works on the larger 5/40 shock nuts and metric 3mm nut version for kits such as the ones from Team Associated, Mugen, Kyosho or Tekno. The gauge is made from American-grade 7075 aluminium and it is CNC-cut, anodised and laser-etched in house at VRP.

PowerStar PM-2211 high-torque servo

PowerStar have introduced their new PM-2211 high-torque servo. It utilises a heatsink-design all-aluminium case, an all-metal geartrain as well as a powerful and efficient brushless motor. At 7.4V input the standard-size servo pulls up to 22kg-cm of torque at a speed of down to 0.11s with the servo being able to use up to 8.4V input for even greater performance. Included come a suitable aluminium servo arm and four aluminium servo mount bushings.
