RPM Arrma Raider front & rear arm sets

New from RPM are front and rear arm sets for Arrma’s line of 1/10th scale 2WD off-road vehicles such as the Raider, Granite, Vorteks, Fury and Mojave. Starting with the front set, the kit includes the upper and lower arms whose updated design greatly improves durability. On top of this do tighter tolerances reduce suspension slop for improved steering feeling and a more predictable ride. The rear set compromises of the rear lower A-arms that also received a make over in terms of design for improved durability and precision. All parts are moulded from RPM’s renown nylon composite, making them virtually indestructible and they are usable on the BLS, BLX and Mega versions of the above mentioned kits.

VRP HB D817/E817 HRC suspension blocks

VRP has released high roll centre HRC suspension blocks for the HB Racing D817 and E817 buggies. The blocks have the hinge pin locations moved up 1mm from the stock blocks and will complement HB Racing’s +1.4mm B block. This offers more overall roll, which on certain track conditions will translate to more overall grip. The D block features VRP’s “quick release” design, meaning the D block can be removed without taking out the bottom two chassis screws and after only removing the two screws holding the actual D block. The A block also has an additional 1mm of material on the bottom that increases its overall lifespan. The A, C and D block are machined from 7075 aluminium, they come black anodised and laser-etched for easy identification.

JConcepts ReHab 1/8th buggy tyre

JConcepts have introduced their latest 1/8th buggy tyre, the ReHab. Based on its larger cousin, the Detox, the ReHab brings all the details of a successful tyre into a smaller tread package for smoother track conditions and consistent racing. The design revolves around the centre structure which has medium sized, dense lugs arranged in a stacked configuration. The lugs have strategically placed cuts and grooves to allow flex in dusty conditions to perform even if the track is deteriorating in a long main. The outer portion of the tread fits together like building blocks, with shapes placed together that nest well but also work together to flex laterally to provide steadfast side-bite. The tread tapers off cleanly to the outer side-wall giving a smooth transition during hard cornering. Included with the tyre, that is available in blue, green, black and R2 compound, are grey colour Dirt-Tech inserts.
