ILR SB401 4mm carbon fibre rear shock tower

Inside Line Racing have released a new 4mm thick carbon fibre shock tower for the rear of the PR SB401 4WD buggy. The tower features revised inner camber link positions which moves the group of holes down by 3.5mm. This provides the ability for increased rear traction and stability. In addition to the two existing upper shock mounting positions, there is a new outer hole to allow the shock to be stood up more giving increased forward drive when necessary and allow further tuning.

Dirt Racing Products recessed ball-stud washer set

JConcepts have released another Brian “Dirt” Kinwald product in the form of the Dirt Racing Products recessed washer set that was designed to offer two ball-stud height adjustments while utilizing a single washer. The 2 and 3mm washers feature a 1mm recess; this allows a driver to simply flip orientation for desired height. The large diameter of the washer provides a steady footing against plastic and aluminum components while the milled and recessed grooves easily indicate which height is in hand. Included in each package are four pieces of the 2 to 1mm washer and two pieces of the 3 to 2mm washer. In addition, a 0.5mm shim is also included for the ultimate in fine tuning adjustment and can be used alongside the recessed washers. Anodized in black, the washers can be used as a technical tuning option or simply during a “black-out vehicle build.

T-Works B6-series titanium battery post with locknuts

Coming from T-Works and made for Team Associated’s sixth generation 1/10th off-road buggies are titanium battery mount posts. The parts offer a plain middle section for improved battery brace fitment and they are also 2.5mm longer than the standard parts, allowing for easy mounting of the battery hold down. The precisely machined hex section makes for effortless height adjustments and the parts come in sets of two, usable on both the B6 and B6D.

MIP TLR 22 3.0 Roller Pucks bi-metal drive system

MIP’s popular Roller Pucks bi-metal drive system is now also available for the TLR 22 3.0 buggy. The design with alloy diff ring discs and steal outdrives makes for a 25 percent weight reduction compared to the stock parts, without compromising strength and durability, making the set ideal for modified racers who wish to save on rotational mass. Sweep Defender-T 1/8th truggy tyre

Sweep have introduced their new Defender-T tyre for 1/8th scale truggies. Based off of the Defender buggy tyre the truggy-specific variant builds on the new V2 carcass with a reduced width and rounder shape, providing a more constant driving feeling on bumpy tracks while also creating more forward drive. The square-type tread along with refined pin spacing will create tons of side-bite and the tyre is available soon in YX, SX, BX, RX, and WX long-wear compounds.

PowerHD DW25LV crawler-specific servo

New from PowerHD comes the crawler-specific DW25LV servo. It features an all-aluminium case, durable titanium and steel gears, a powerful coreless motor and it pulls up to 25kg-cm of torque at a speed of 0.11s. The standard voltage servo is also fully waterproof to make for rear go-everywhere capabilities and it comes black anodised and with white laser-etched graphics.

Losi XL-range aluminium shock towers & chassis braces

Losi have introduced new aluminium option parts for the DBXL and MTXL range of large scale kits. First up are front and rear shock towers cut from high-quality aluminium and coming black anodised and with silver chamfered edges. The parts incorporate several mounting positions for the shock absorbers and camber links and they include all needed mounting hardware. Available separately the shock towers are usable on both the DBXL buggy and MTXL truck.
