LMR 27 1/10th scale low-profile buggy wing

LMR have introduced their all-new 27 wing for the use with 1/10th off-road buggies. Designed with high-traction racing in mind the wing weighs in at only 17 gram while its low-profile design significantly lowers the car’s centre of gravity. For lower grip racing conditions the wing has a recess where an optional 1mm carbon fibre plate can sit and act as a stiffener, making this wing produce the maximum amount of downforce and still weighing less than 20 grams in the process. The pre-drilled plate, currently only available for Yokomo buggies, has three hole placements so the wing can be moved forward or back depending on the level of traction required.

Samix aluminium servo arms for Axial vehicles

Samix have introduced aluminium servo arms for a range of Axial vehicles. Machined from high-quality aluminium the arms are of a clamping design for a secure fit even in high-stress applications. Available as 23T and 25T variant the arms offer 16mm and 20mm ball stud mounting positions, they are available in six different colours and fit the Axial SCX10, XR10, Wraith, AX10 and Exo.

ST Racing Concepts introduce new SCX10 option parts

ST Racing Concepts have introduced new option parts for the Axial SCX10 truck in the form of a front bumper mount and two rear chassis braces. CNC machined from high-quality aluminium, the heavy-duty chassis rail brace and bumper mounts will add great strength while adding visual impact. The parts allow for various combinations of builds, like mounting a Honcho style front bumper, eliminating the rear bumper all together, or allowing the addition of tail lights to the SCX10. The front chassis brace/bumper mount is machined specifically for the SCX10 Honcho bumper while the rear chassis brace is for SCX10 vehicles that does not require an installation of a rear bumper and adds increase in durability and looks to the rear of the vehicle. The third new part, the light bucket rear chassis brace is for those SCX10 owners that have forward mounted batteries and wish to also install rear tail lights on their SCX10. The parts are available in black, gun metal, green or silver anodising.

Reds Racing Gen2 venturi inserts

Italian company Reds Racing have introduced the Gen2 venturi inserts for 3.5cc off-road and on-road engines. The off-road specific Gen2 venturis are available in 6mm, 6.5mm, 7mm and a new 7.5mm variant with the innovative design improving fuel mileage and torque while also making for better tuning stability. The on-road Gen2 venturi is available in 8mm, 8.5mm and 9mm variants and it features a higher torque, maintaining mid and top range power and fuel consumption.

Duratrax introduce new 1/8th & 10th scale tyres

Coming from Duratrax are several new tyres and pre-mounts for 1/8th and 1/10th off-road vehicles. First up are the pre-mounted Lockup 1/8th buggy tyres. The proven sport performance tyre is now available on a new black-colour multi-spoke rim that is also up for grabs separately in 4-piece packages. The wheel for 17mm wheel adapters fits pretty much every modern 1/8th off-road buggy and the pre-mounts are available in the popular C2 tyre compound.

Maifield, Sartel & Monteiro win at 2016 TLR Cup

The Noeux les Mines in France track played host to the 2016 TLR Cup over the weekend. The event attracted a good amount of national drivers and also guest from abroad such as TLR’s Ryan Maifield and Dakotah Phend to battle against Europe’s fastest TLR drivers. In the premier Nitro Buggy class Ryan Maifield would grab the TQ from Renaud Savoya while Marco Baruffolo rounded out the top 3. In the Nitro Truggy category Jerome Sartel came out fastest after the qualifiers from Matt Lewis and Vincent Berthelot while in 1/8th E-Buggy Dakotah Phend took the TQ honours from Jean-Pierrick Sartel and Ryan Maifield.

Mugen MBX-7 series 4-shoe clutch set

Mugen have introduced a new 4-shoe clutch for their MBX-7 series of vehicles. Including a new flywheel the set also comes with four aluminium clutch shoes, a set of 0.8mm and 0.9mm springs as well as mounting material. The clutch is usable with the MBX-7R buggy and MBX7TR truck as well as the MGT7 1/8th GT car with all parts also being available separately.
