Intech introduce revised ER-12M 2.0 ball differential

Coming from Intech Racing is a revised ball differential for the ER-12M 2.0 and ER-12M 2.0 Lite buggies. The new diff now features 14 ceramic diff balls instead of 12 carbide balls for smoother operation and less slipping. In addition, the 52T diff gear, male diff outdrive, and diff clutch spring have all been revised and will now be standard in the kit. These changes are meant to improve the performance of the ER-12M 2.0 Buggy with a smoother and easier to adjust ball differential. On top of this Intech offers a free exchange program for the old specification diff with customers receiving the revised diff when sending the old one to the national distributors.

The outdrives have been re-worked to make for a perfect bearing surface for smooth differential action under any load. The diff case and inserts were tooled for the highest in precision, giving proper gear backlash every time. Hardened steel, straight-cut bevel gears or spurs cap the system off.

Team Associated announce the B6 platform

AssoB6-7

Having been teasing a new 2wd buggy over the past week on social media, Team Associated have finally announced the new B6 and B6D 2wd buggies. Out of the box, the B6 offers racers a setup developed for high to very-high traction, whereas the B6D excels when traction is low to high. Racing at multiple tracks, or where traction changes throughout the day, has never been easier; setups and tuning parts are interchangeable between the two configurations, making the B6 platform extremely versatile. The most obvious differences between both cars is the transmission with the B6 featuring a laydown 3 gear transmission with lower CG and reduced polar moment while the Dirt version has a standup 3 gear transmission with the weight more to the rear for increased rear traction. The B6 also comes equipped with a gear diff as well as gull wing arms and a wide front tower for increased on power steering where as the B6D is equipped with ball diff, flat arms and a narrow front tower for more responsive steering and quicker release out of the corner.
