DE Racing RC8B3 BumpSkid & rear skid plate

New from DE Racing and made for the Team Associated RC8B3 are the front BumpSkid and rear skid plate. The BumpSkid combines a superior front skid plate with a refined front bumper to create the ultimate in protection and performance. The rear skid plates offer the highest quality engineering resin that wears like aluminium at a fraction of the weight while eliminating the need for longer screws. Both parts protect the chassis from excessive wear on abrasive surfaces.

Team Associated RC8B3 Factory Team rear hubs

Team Associated have introduced the Factory Team aluminium rear hubs for the RC8B3 and RC8B3e buggies. These hubs include inserts for adjusting the axle height with the lowest setting will make turns easier to drive through, though slower whereas the highest setting will make the buggy turn more quickly. The kit universal axles will fit the Factory Team rear hubs with the addition of the optional 8x16x5mm bearings set and the hub inserts are also sold separately for spares and repair.

Tekno RC alloy servo arms & PVC pit mat

Coming soon from Tekno RC are aluminium servo arms and a PVC pit mat. Starting with the servo horns, they are designed to minimise force transmitted to the servo in the event of a hard landing or crash. They utilise a bottom mount design that, as opposed to a top mount, lowers the leverage point and helps increase the life of the servo top bearing and gears. A hefty M3 locking screw ensures the servo horn will never come loose again and the servo horn is available as 23T, 24T and 25T servo spline variant. Also new is a 60x120cm PVC pit mat. The mat is easy to roll up and it keeps the pit space clean and stylish.

Motiv RC 3D-printed Fan Stand

Motiv RC have introduced their new Fan Stand, a mount designed to be a guard for the exposed motor fan blades. Its more important purpose though is to give the fan a larger and flat foot print so it can easily be secured to the chassis anywhere using double sided tape. The 3D-printed unit is tailor made for the Motiv HV Super Fan but will work in conjunction with any 30×30 fan.

Bittydesign RC8B3 Force bodyshell

New from Italian company Bittydesign comes the Force bodyshell tailor-made for the Team Associated RC8B3 buggy. The cab forward bodyshell features a sleek yet spacious side pod design with scoops for free throttle and brake linkage movement, the roof top is decorated with a “shark fin” for improved stability and the rear end sports a distinctive spoiler behind the engine section for increased rear traction and improved airflow towards the rear wing. The Italian-made body is moulded from 1.0 millimetre Lexan material, it comes including window masks and a decal sheet and also available is a set of suitable rear mud guards, again made from genuine 1.0 millimetre Lexan material. The body will hit the stores in around two weeks time.

Modelix introduce ceramic bearing .21 engines

Spanish company Modelix have introduced their new range of Ultimate .21 off-road engines with high-quality ceramic bearings. First up is the M-4R, the company’s most powerful engine, with linear power at both low and high RPM. The second new engine is the M-5, a linear engine with excellent bottom end power, making it ideal for 1/8th buggies and truggies alike. Last but not least comes the M-8 long-stroke engine with good power in both the low and high RPM range. All three utilise the new Super Speed Series ceramic ball races that make for a lower engine weight while offering improved corrosion and wear resistance along reduced friction and vibration.

Carisma GTB White Edition composite parts

Available now for Carisma’s GTB 4WD mini buggy are several white colour composite parts. The range includes all of the important bits and pieces such s lower A-arms, C-hubs, steering knuckles, rear hubs, front and rear bulkheads, steering and battery mounting parts as well as ball cups and more. The parts are a direct fit on the standard GTB and they are available exclusively through Carisma’s webshop.

Exotek RB6 big bore bleeder caps & B5 alloy hexes-1

Exotek have new option parts for the Kyosho RB6 and Team Associated B5M buggy available. Starting with the Kyosho part, new is a 4-piece set of big bore damper top caps with bleeder holes. The easy bleed screw design makes rebuilding the shock absorbers alot easier and the black anodised alloy parts come with laser-etched Exotek logos and include M2 hardware and seals. Also new are the B5 rear clamping hexes for HD axle equipped buggies such as the B5M Lite and CE. The precision machined alloy hexes are 6.75mm wide and available in factory blue or black. Coming as pairs they include suitable M2 hardware.
