JConcepts RM2 1:8 Offroad carbon bodyshell washers

Under the RM2 product line, JConcepts has released 1:8 offroad carbon fibre bodyshell washers. Adding carbon fibre never hurts, in the case of body mounts, you can protect the geometry of placement holes with the RM2 body shell washers. The thinly sliced carbon with adhesive backing is ideal to place in flat areas where additional reinforcement is needed. Due to the nature of carbon, it’s difficult to bend, so flat surfaces are recommended for application. Being a handy racer, the items can always be modified, cut, or relocated to better fit the needs. The inside diameter is set for an 8mm body post hole while the outer diameter is set to a much larger size to accommodate body geometry. Two of the pieces are slotted for movement and traditional chassis flex found on 1:8 offroad vehicles.

Schumacher LD3 Alloy Differential

New from Schumacher is this Alloy Differential for their recently launched LD3 1:10 2WD Competition buggy. Also compatible with the ST2, LD2, LD, KD and Cougar KR models, this optional diff gives super precision and strength and has a larger oil volume for more consistency during a run. Available as a complete diff build with all necessary parts included, it can also be purchased as a conversion kit that includes all the parts to form a new diff using your existing kit parts.

JConcepts Scalloped 2.2″ carpet | turf inserts

JConcepts adds an open cell buggy insert option to the line-up specifically for carpet and turf racing. The scalloped insert takes some technology from the latest in 1:10 and 1:8 offroad closed cell inserts and incorporates it in to the soft and pliable open cell material. The inserts have shown to produce better rolling speed and supports the centre section of wide and narrow front tires used in 2WD and 4WD buggy racing. The tyre holds up to large impacts and landings and abuse from the front end but still allows the insert to buckle and steer and carve corners with care. The scalloped design front insert holds up to repeated use without premature wear characteristics by allowing flex in the centre of the tyre. On the rear insert, the scalloped nature of the detail cuts allow a buckling effect which promotes forward drive while still allowing the tire to hold up to repeated use without premature wear characteristics.

Having teased us with pictures of a car for its SEMA Show display, Team Associated is now offering the opportunity to own the car that changed RC off-road racing forever in a crystal-clear collector’s edition! Having shown the SLA prototype race cars for years and how they use them for parts fit and testing, the iconic US manufacturer’s goal with the RC10CC is to provide you with the same look and feel as our SLA prototype display vehicles but more cost-effective and practical. They have taken the RC10 Classic and shot many of the molds in polycarbonate clear. While it is stronger than SLA and could be driven, it was manufactured as a display piece for your collection. The polycarbonate clear components will only be available in the kit which is due for release in December. They will not be sold individually.

JConcepts 20th Anniversary grid apparel

JConcepts has released the Grid t-shirt and hoodie as part of their 20^th anniversary season celebration. After a successful 2023 campaign, the team from Groveland, Florida has prepared a new graphic displaying an alternative anniversary logo combined with an updated background to bolster the design. The viewer’s eye carefully locks in on the grid design in blue, while the fresh JConcepts logo pops in bright white printing. On the sleeve, the racing checkerboard design provides the winning fit and finish to the design. The stealth black shirt produced in 100% cotton fabric has a comfortable feel while the stealth black hoodie, pullover sweatshirt is produced in 50/50 fabric, has a comfortable feel, and is available in sizes ranging from small to triple extra-large.

LRP ‘Highflex’ V2 Sensor Wires

LRP has introduced a new range of ‘Highflex’ V2 Sensor Wires. Based on their popular original sensor wires they get further improved specification and the addition of 175mm length which is perfect for 1:10 2WD use. Also available in 70mm, 95mm, 150mm and 200mm, each sensor wire is packaged 3 wire strands next to each other and stacked in 2 rows on top of each other, perfectly positioned with a shrink tube, which is not too tight and not too loose with further improved crimping. This gives a tight fit to the motor and ESC sensor ports.

T-Works 1:8 & 1:10 Handheld Tyre Balancer

New from T-Works is this handheld tyre balance for both 1:8 and 1:10 wheels. The tool has been designed to balance most 12mm hex and 17mm hex wheels, including 1:10 buggy, short course, 1:8 buggy and truggy. To change between 1:8 and 1:10 wheels simple the switch around of wheel adapter on the handle.
