Bittydesign RC8B3 Force bodyshell

New from Italian company Bittydesign comes the Force bodyshell tailor-made for the Team Associated RC8B3 buggy. The cab forward bodyshell features a sleek yet spacious side pod design with scoops for free throttle and brake linkage movement, the roof top is decorated with a “shark fin” for improved stability and the rear end sports a distinctive spoiler behind the engine section for increased rear traction and improved airflow towards the rear wing. The Italian-made body is moulded from 1.0 millimetre Lexan material, it comes including window masks and a decal sheet and also available is a set of suitable rear mud guards, again made from genuine 1.0 millimetre Lexan material. The body will hit the stores in around two weeks time.

Modelix introduce ceramic bearing .21 engines

Spanish company Modelix have introduced their new range of Ultimate .21 off-road engines with high-quality ceramic bearings. First up is the M-4R, the company’s most powerful engine, with linear power at both low and high RPM. The second new engine is the M-5, a linear engine with excellent bottom end power, making it ideal for 1/8th buggies and truggies alike. Last but not least comes the M-8 long-stroke engine with good power in both the low and high RPM range. All three utilise the new Super Speed Series ceramic ball races that make for a lower engine weight while offering improved corrosion and wear resistance along reduced friction and vibration.

Carisma GTB White Edition composite parts

Available now for Carisma’s GTB 4WD mini buggy are several white colour composite parts. The range includes all of the important bits and pieces such s lower A-arms, C-hubs, steering knuckles, rear hubs, front and rear bulkheads, steering and battery mounting parts as well as ball cups and more. The parts are a direct fit on the standard GTB and they are available exclusively through Carisma’s webshop.

Exotek RB6 big bore bleeder caps & B5 alloy hexes-1

Exotek have new option parts for the Kyosho RB6 and Team Associated B5M buggy available. Starting with the Kyosho part, new is a 4-piece set of big bore damper top caps with bleeder holes. The easy bleed screw design makes rebuilding the shock absorbers alot easier and the black anodised alloy parts come with laser-etched Exotek logos and include M2 hardware and seals. Also new are the B5 rear clamping hexes for HD axle equipped buggies such as the B5M Lite and CE. The precision machined alloy hexes are 6.75mm wide and available in factory blue or black. Coming as pairs they include suitable M2 hardware.

New from Yuki Model comes the HC-2284GG digital brushless servo. The standard-size item is high-voltage compatible, allowing to use it with up to 8.4V input. SWorkz S12-1M Carpet Edition 2WD buggy kit

Around for some time in prototype stages SWorkz have now introduced the production version of the S12-1M 1/10th scale 2WD buggy kit. The mid motor carpet spec buggy builds on a 3mm 7075 aluminium chassis that allows for four different battery configurations including shorty, saddle and square packs. The gearbox is of the latest low-profile design with a front-mounted motor, centre layshaft and rear gear differential while the suspension utilises bladder-less large volume big bore shock absorbers, a front aluminium and rear carbon fibre shock tower. The rear aluminium suspension mounts make use of a composite insert system to adjust the toe and anti-squat settings and the buggy is usable with standard 12mm hex wheels or SWorkz’ own “1/8th-style” rear wheels.

Intech ER-14 shorty battery strap

Coming from Intech and made for the ER-14 buggy is a short battery strap. Cut from high-quality carbon fibre and sporting a two-colour Intech logo the strap is designed for shorty packs exclusively. Using the battery strap not only makes for a more secure fastening of the shorty pack but it also adds some visual impact to the car.

MIP Roller Pucks rebuild kit

MIP have introduced the Roller Pucks .150 x .093 rebuild kit for the newly released Roller Pucks drive system. This all-in-one kit is directly targeted towards those that already use the MIP Pucks system with steel outdrives and want to upgrade to MIP’s new Roller Pucks system which features a metal rolling bushing rather than a plastic sliding puck. The refresh kit includes all needed parts to upgrade two driveshafts such as two Roller Puck pins, four Roller pucks and three button head screws.
