Axial AR60 OCP full width axle adapter set

Axial’s new AR60 OCP full width axle adapter set widens the AR60 axles, creating an equal front and rear track width on 1/10th scale Yeti vehicles. This enables the use of any 12mm wheel to be used on the 1/10th scale Yeti without the use of special wheel adapters. The kit comes with extended steel axles, black anodised aluminium axle housing extenders, four cartridge bearings and all necessary hardware and it is compatible with all vehicles using AR60 axles such as the Yeti, Wraith, Wraith Spawn, AX10 Ridgecrest, and AX10 Deadbolt.

Schumacher CAT-K2 4wd buggy

At this weekend’s 2015/16 EOS season opener at the Nurburgring in Germany newly crowned European Champion and top Schumacher driver Michal Orlowski is debuting the new Schumacher 4WD Buggy, called CAT-K2. The main goal in developing the car has been transferring the weight distribution concept from their 2WD on to the new 4WD buggy, keeping the motor centred and moving it as forward as possible while obtaining a narrower car. The layout also allows the user to choose from 5 different battery positions, using a saddle pack or a shorty. The transmission is now completely straight and allows the use of the FAB (Front Adjustable Brake) System, while on the suspension only some small details have been changed.

Vision Racing micro tune RB6 carbon fibre shock tower

New from Vision Racing comes the micro tune shock tower for Kyosho’s RB6 2WD off-road buggy. Machined from high-quality carbon fibre the shock tower incorporates in-between holes for the upper shock mounts, making it a total of five per side, while the tower can also be raised by 2mm thanks to a second mounting position for an even wider range of setups. On top of that a redesigned centre section makes for improved airflow towards the body.

Intech ER-12 & ER-14 emulsion shock caps

Intech Racing have announce the release of emulsion shock caps for the ER-12 and ER-14 buggies. The non-bladder, emulsion style shock caps are machined from black anodised high-quality 7075-T6 aluminium and they allow for zero rebound when building the shocks while also making for a more precise adjustment and improved performance. The caps come as pairs and include specific O-rings and bleeder screws.

MIP Rollers D413 drive system

Coming from MIP and made for the HB D413 4WD buggy is the all-new Rollers drive system. Based on the design ideas of the rebuildable Pucks system for 2WD buggies the Rollers offer better wear characteristics for demanding applications such as 4WD buggies while being completely rebuildable at the same time. The design revolves around replaceable tubes that offer a larger surface than conventional pins and due to their softer material they are also less harsh on the outdrives as they wear faster than the steel parts while being much cheaper to replace than a full driveshaft. The sets are available for the front and the rear of the D413 and they include new shiny driveshafts, the rollers and new steel outdrives.

JConcepts Reflex 4.0" truck tyres

Following yesterday’s introduction of the Chasers 4.0″ 1/8th truck tyres JConcepts also have the Reflex 4.0″ tyres available soon. The Reflex tread is designed to bridge a gap between the popular Hybrid tyre and other options such as the Subcultures and Stacker. The Reflex has square angled pins that are stacked vertically to flex and fold evenly across the tyre and typically a stacked tread will wear less and provide more forward bite while the aligned space helps rotation in the turns and gives a snappy release to square up quickly. Like all new tyres the Reflex includes Dirt-Tech inserts and it will become available in a range of compounds and also pre-mounted on white or yellow rims.

Team Powers Radon Sport V2 brushless controller

Coming soon from Team Powers is the Radon Sport V2 brushless speed controller. The upgraded V2 comes with several hardware and software improvements to boost performance and reliability. Starting with the hardware upgrades the V2 sports swapped A and C motor wires for easier wiring, the alloy case features a newly designed heatsink that allows to mount the new 30mm fan flat or at a 30 degree angle and both the receiver connection and programming wire have been relocated to avoid unwanted removal. As for the software changes the speedo offers a single modified and stock program, simplified boost and turbo settings as well as improved brake adjustment and smoother throttle control. The new firmware also addresses reliability issues when running boosted stock motors with high timing settings and the improved software also keeps the ESC running at lower temperatures.

Axial Yeti GeoCamo body & 2-speed transmission

Axial have new optional parts for the Yeti 1/8th scale and 1/10th scale off-road vehicles available. First up is the GeoCamo bodyshell for the 1/8th Yeti. Made from .040″ polycarbonate and coming pre-painted in a green camouflage design the pre-cut body set includes the roof, hood and side panels with the parts being direct replacements for the stock body. Also included is a set of decals.
