Schumacher Cat K2 1/10th 4WD off-road buggy

Moving forward from the 2015 EFRA Euros winning CAT K1 Aero, Schumacher have now introduced the Cat K2. With modern track trends the buggy is optimised for high and low grip conditions, making it faster, more consistent and more versatile with its longer and very narrow chassis. Based on the updated chassis the car allows to run multiple battery configurations from shorty to saddle pack, it features a reverse rotation mid-motor layout with centralised motor position and split top decks for greater flex characteristics and easier maintenance. Also new are a compact steering system with adjustable, dynamic Ackermann, the new quad-pad slipper clutch and the new front inner hinge-pin mounting system. Included are also a new, sleek bodyshell and the Claw high-downforce rear wing package.

Hot Race Bangkok 1/8th buggy tyre

The second in the line of Hot Race Tyres’ new 1/8th buggy rubbers is the Bangkok. Used at last weekend’s World Indoor Buggy to gain the TQ spot after the qualifiers and the runner-up spot in the main final, the tyre is of a mini pin design with an inner mesh making for lower and more even tyre wear. The tyre is available in supersoft, soft, medium and hard compound.

Team Orion Ultra chemistry shorty LiPo battery

Team Orion have introduced their Ultra chemistry shorty LiPo battery pack. Suitable for a range of applications the pack is built from high-performance 450mmAh 100C cells with a special chemistry and construction making for improved punch and extreme power output. This allows to use the battery in power-hungry classes such as 4WD Modified off-road and it comes housed in a carbon-look hardcase, utilising standard 4mm gold-plated connectors.

Yeah Racing TT02B aluminium suspension parts

New from Yeah Racing and made for the Tamiya TT02B entry-level off-road buggy are several aluminium suspension parts. The range includes front and rear lower A-arms, ball-raced 6 degree C-hubs, front steering knuckles, 3 degree toe rear hubs as well as front and rear shock towers. The latter sport multiple shock mounting locations and most parts also include mounting hardware for fast and easy assembly. All parts are cut from high-quality aluminium, they come anodised in a bright blue colour and add rigidity, precision and visual impact.

Axial RR10 soft rear sway bar set

Designed for high speed, Axial’s soft rear swaybar set for the recently announced RR10 will allow to soften up the vehicle’s suspension for jumps, while keeping torque twist and body lean to a minimum during acceleration. The set includes all needed mounting hardware and a soft swaybar wire.

Team Associated ProSC 4x4 V2 CVA upgrade kit

Team Associated have introduced the V2 CVA upgrade kit for the ProSC 4×4 short course truck. The kit gives all the parts needed to switch to the new CVAs for greater strength. The parts, that are also available separately, are not interchangeable with the stock items and they also fit the ProLite and ProRally.

Active MF01 aluminium option parts

Active Hobby Products soon have a range of aluminium option parts for Tamiya’s MF01 off-road chassis available. First up is the aluminium motor mount and under guard set that includes a machined motor plate, motor guard and fan mount to improve motor cooling in high ambient temperatures and when using brushed motors. The parts also protect the lower part of the motor while allowing to attach a 30mm fan at the same time. The set is available in blue, black, red and silver anodising.

STRC Ascender diff cover & PL beadlock rings

ST Racing Concepts have introduced an aluminium diff cover for the Vaterra Ascender truck as well as beadlock rings for Pro-Line crawler rims. Starting with the diff cover, the part was designed to improve the durability and add visual impact to the Ascender’s and Bronco’s front and rear axle. The high-quality CNC-machined aluminium cover is a direct replacement of the stock plastic piece and available in scale black, gun metal, or natural silver.
