Serpent Cobra Be 2.1 1/8th E-buggy kit

Serpent introduce an updated version of their Cobra 1/8th E-buggy, the Cobra Be 2.1. The new variant features some subtle but performance and durability enhancing changes compared to its predecessor such as 14 degrees aluminium C-hubs, new V2 rear uprights, wheel axle rubber boots, 98mm driveshafts and V2 wheel axles. Also included is a 2.3mm front anti-roll bar. Otherwise the kit, that was driven by Serpent Factory driver Jörn Neumann to a fine 4th place at the recent NeoX, remains unchanged.

JConcepts Smoothies 4WD front slick tyres

JConcepts’ Smoothies 1/10th off-road slick tyres are now also available in a 4WD front variant. Released as a 60mm bead mounting diameter, the tyres mount straight to the latest generation wheels for that all important reactive feel. The carefully profiled tyre carcass rolls through the turns with efficiency while the maximum smooth surface area grips perfectly on surfaces such as prepped “indoor” clay. The Smoothies include Dirt-Tech 60mm inserts and they are available in gold and green compounds.

Schumacher Cougar KF2 front top deck & pivot blocks

Schumacher have two new option parts for the Cougar KF2 available in the form of a carbon fibre front top deck and optional rear toe-in blocks. Starting with the top deck, the carbon fibre part allows to fine-tune the front stiffness of the chassis and it can be used where traction is very high and the car needs more stability. The top deck incorporates a fan mount to keep the motor cool under high load conditions.

TLR Ten-SCTE/2.0 thick sway bar set

Coming from TLR and made for the Ten-SCTE and 2.0 kit is a thick sway bar set. Offering larger diameter wires than the standard set the thick sway bars come in handy especially on high-grip surfaces such as carpet and astro turf. Included are three black colour front and three rear sway bar wires.

X Factory Infinity B5M side stiffeners

Coming from X Factory’s Infinity option parts line and made for the Infinity Team Associated B5M chassis is a set of chassis side stiffeners. X Factory’s Infinity B5M chassis has been very successful over the past six months, most notably taking all four rounds of qualifying in Stock Buggy at the Cactus Classic. With all screws in the side rails and side decks tightened securely the CF chassis is quite stiff, but some drivers desire an even stiffer platform on certain high-bite tracks. These side stiffener plastic parts answer the calls. Super-easy to install, the driver just removes the bolts holding the side decks on, drops the new stiffener in, and re-tighten the side deck bolts. Therefore, chassis stiffness can be adjusted in just a minute.

DKT MBX7R graphite front steering plate

Available soon from DKT is a graphite front steering plate for the Mugen MBX7R. The part offers improved steering response and durability compared to the standard composite plate and it comes with a set of aluminium spacers for a drop fit.

Exotek Cougar & Cat aluminium option parts

Coming soon and made for the Schumacher Cougar and Cat 1/10th electric off-road buggies are several aluminium option parts from Exotek. First up is the black anodised twist nut LiPo post set with easy adjust twist nuts for the Cougar and Cat series. The lightweight and secure factory style mounts allow to adjust the battery strap height to match the LiPo height perfectly. The set includes two 23mm alloy posts, two alloy twist nuts and two steel threaded rods. The set can also be used with other applications requiring twist nut and LiPo post mounting.

Xray XB8 graphite lower arm plates

New from Xray and made for the XB8 buggy come lower arm plates cut from 2mm carbon fibre. Designed to allow for easy flex adjustments of the arms the parts attach to the wishbones using small screws and they limit the overall flex of the composite parts for improved traction and added stability especially in chicanes and when racing on high-bite surfaces. The plates come as separate front and rear sets and they are a direct fit.
