Team Associated RC10T5M Team kit

Team Associated have introduced their all new RC10T5M mid motor 1/10th truck. By taking the proven championship-winning RC10T4 platform and applying the technologies used in the B5M, the engineers of Team Associated’s Area 51 created the RC10T5M. Like the B5M, the T5M has an aluminum chassis and mid-motor configuration that are designed to take full advantage of the surface conditions and high traction levels available on today’s tracks.

The new DKT clutch system is designed to obtain the best power transmission, while also being completely customisable to adapt the power band to your driving style and track conditions. Using top quality materials, the flywheel is made of hard coated aluminium and all the components are interchangeable with original Mugen parts. Supplied with a D-block nut, the shoes are available in 3 different materials, Alu Ultra Hard, Alu Hard and Carbon and there are also three different types of springs available, 0.9mm, 1.0mm and 1.1mm.

TKO B5 & Pan car diff rings

TKO have introduced their new flat & finished diff rings for the Associated B5 and a range of pan cars. Using their ‘Totally Flat Technology’, TKO claims to have produced the finest diff rings available. Using a proprietary process, the rings faces are flat to within 2 microns. and the faces are parallel to within 1 micron, one micron being 40 millionths of an inch (.0000040). The faces have a #7 finish to provide traction for the diff balls and they fit flat on the hub for near zero run out.

Exotek TLR 22-4 rear camber block & front tower

New from Exotek for the TLR 22-4 4wd buggy are a new rear camber block and front shock tower. The rear camber block has been made from heavy duty machined 7075 and they have added 2 additional and important higher roll centre mounting points at the bottom of the camber mounts. The new lower mounting points are excellent for freeing up the buggy at the rear for more mid corner steering but also increased on power traction and stability. The front shock tower has been made from stealthy matte finish 5mm thick carbon fibre. Much stiffer and stronger for consistent damper action yet still light weight due to its extra machining and the wide open shape allows air to pass through for better body aero. The one piece shock tower eliminates the lower camber mount for improved durability and uses flat head screws for better shock tower alignment onto the bulkhead.

For the SCX10 there are now a line of red anodized option parts, Featuring the same high quality aluminuim and CNC machining precision, these parts are available in very limited quantities and only directly. For the Axial Yeti there are also a limited run of selected orange anodized option parts.

RDRP B5RM Battery holder plate

New from Revolution Design Racing Products is this carbon fibre battery plate for the Team Associated B5 rear motor buggy. The part was designed to replace the standard moulded composite plate with a more durable, more rigid and overall better looking part. CNC-machined from high-quality carbon fibre material the battery plate is usable with saddle pack and brick-type LiPo batteries as well as the standard AE and aftermarket thumbnuts.

Axial Yeti pre-painted bodyshell

Axial have a new pre-painted bodyshell for the 1/10th Yeti rock racer available. Made from .040″ thick polycarbonate material the body comes painted in a white, blue and pink paint scheme, it is pre-cut for easy installation and includes a roof section and decals. The needed plastic scale accessories and hardware are available separately.

Avid B5 & B44.3 Avert aluminium spring cups

Avid’s Avert aluminium spring cups for the Team Associated B5, B5M and B44.3 are a direct replacement for the standard plastic cups and they are of a unique angled slot design to prevent them from coming off in demanding conditions. They also fit snug on the shock eyelet to help prevent shock shafts from pulling out of the plastic shock end. The cup’s dimensions resemble the +5 Associated parts, they are machined from black anodised 6061-T6 aluminium material and come in packs of four including an Avid mini decal sheet.
