Yeah Racing GC301 drift car gyro

Yeah Racing introduce their GC301 gyro for the use with drift cars. The compact device measures 21x21x11mm, it weighs 3.6g and connects between the receiver and the steering servo. The adjustable heading hold function keeps the car stable during cornering but it maintains full manoeuvrability and car control. The amount of gain can be adjusted using the third channel on the transmitter or by using the gyro’s potentiometer. The device is usable for other on-road and off-road applications also but when used in a race event you need to check for legality.

Exotek B5 Flite motor plate & rear ballstud mount

Exotek have two new aluminium option parts for the Team Associated B5 and B5M buggy available in the form of the vented Flite motor plate and an aluminium rear ballstud mount for the B5M mid motor buggy. Starting with the motor plate, the CNC-machined part sports aggressive machining to make the part not only 6.5g lighter than the stock motor plate but to also improve motor and slipper heat dissipation. The critical motor mounting area was left out with machining to maintain a solid base for motor mounting and gear mesh adjusting. The part, that is available in blue and black colour, is designed for the use on indoor clay and carpet environments but a shaved bottom allows for debris discharge if needed.

Arrowmax B-Max2 +5 degree C-hub set

Arrowmax now have a +5 degree C-hub set for Yokomo’s B-Max2 2WD buggy available. The hubs are CNC-machined from aluminium, come blue anodised and laser-etched for easy identification and added looks. Much stronger than the original composite parts the alloy hubs make for improved durability while the +5 degree caster setting improved on-power steering.

Xray 1/8th off-road hard clutch springs

Made for Xray’s High-Torque 1/8th nitro off-road clutch is a set of hard springs. The “hard” silver colour springs let the clutch engage later than the already available medium and soft springs for harder acceleration at higher RPMs. The springs come in 3-piece sets.

Schumacher pre-mounted 2WD Stagger & Spiral SC

Schumacher now have the pre-mounted low-profile Cut Stagger 2WD front tyre and the Spiral SC silver compound tyre available. Starting with the pre-mounted 1/10th buggy tyre, the control tyre of the EOS 2014/15 season comes in the carpet-specific yellow compound glued to a slim 12mm hex front wheel. The pre-mounted version does away with the hassle to glue the tyres on your own and it fits on a wide range of today’s 2WD buggies with 12mm wheel hex adapters. Also new is the Spiral SC 1/10th short course tyre in the super soft silver compound. The softest of Schumacher’s rubbers is ideal for the use on wet astroturf or dirt.

Radtec 2-piece motor cooling fan mount

New from Radtec comes a 2-piece motor cooling fan mount. Machined from high-grade 7075-T6 aluminium the holder is usable with 30mm and 40mm fans and it mounts directly to the motor can for improved cooling efficiency without interfering with the chassis’ flex. The mount features a channel to route the fan’s connection wire in and it is available in several colours including black, orange, light blue and red.

New Team Associated B44.3 Factory Team parts

Team Associated soon have new Factory Team parts available for the B44.3 4WD buggy in the form of a carbon fibre shorty battery strap, an aluminium centre diff cap and 12mm front hex adapters. Starting with the battery strap, the brace is machined from high-quality carbon fibre and made to replace the standard part with a more rigid and cooler looking part. Included with the strap comes a pair of blue anodised mounting screws.
