Jonathan Skidmore joins Xray Factory Team

Xray have announced that one of the top UK drivers Jonathan Skidmore is joining their Factory Team to race the XB2, XB4, and XB8 platforms. On the new deal Jonathan said, ‘I am super excited to be joining the Xray factory team, it is known that they work very hard pushing each of their platforms and I feel good to have been given the chance to represent them in UK and Europe. I will give my all to win each race I go to and to help all Xray customers the best I can. Thank you to all the Hudy family for this opportunity.’

2022 April Fools Classic – Announcement

Eaton’s Intermountain RC Raceway in Salt Lake City Utah have announced the dates for the 2022 Proline April Fools Classic, running from the 1st through to the 3rd. Entries are open from February 22nd here with the race open to 4wd, 2wd and truck in Stock, Pro Stock and Modified.

Schumacher sign Daniel Kobbevik

Schumacher Racing have welcomed top Norwegian driver Daniel Kobbevik to their team. Daniel strengthens an already stellar European line up and will be travelling to races Worldwide. He has some great results to his name, TQ and 2nd place 2019 Euro’s 4WD, 4th place IFMAR 2019 Worlds 4WD, Multiple EOS podiums both 4WD and 2WD and 14 times Norwegian National Champion. Daniel had the following to say, ‘2022 will for sure be different and when I got the chance to join the already strong Schumacher team together with Jorn and Michal it was easy to jump on board. It will be exciting to see what we can do together with this new chapter in my career and will also be cool to work close with Tris and the rest of the team. Ryan Cavalieri joins Hobbywing Factory team

Hobbywing have announced that 4-time World champion Ryan Cavalieri has joined their factory team. The TLR driver will use Hobbywing ESCs and motors to participate in all electric car competitions going forward. ‘I’m really excited to be joining Hobbywing and being a part of the family. I would like to thank everyone at Hobbywing for making this possible. I will work closely with the team and help out in anyway to contribute to the already successful line up of products. Blake Champlin joins Schumacher

Joe Bornhorst joins The Drake Racing

The Drake Racing have announced the signing of Joe Bornhorst to their race team. Joe brings with him a wealth of knowledge and amazing attitude on and off the track. He will make his O.S. Speed B21 AD2 powered debut at the Southern Indoor Championship and The Drake Racing will be supporting all of Joe’s nitro powered needs. Joe’s engine of choice will be the O.S. Speed B21 Adam Drake 2 for both nitro buggy and truck. The Sworkz factory driver had this to say about his 2022 nitro engine program:

Ryan Lutz joins Kyosho for 2022 & beyond

Kyosho is pleased to announce the signing of Ryan Lutz for 2022 & beyond. Ryan will be showcasing their Inferno series at the highest level at every major event. RL will make his debut at the Southern Indoor Championship (SIC) in few weeks. Ryan Lutz:
