RDRP XB4 brass rear motor weight

Revolution Design Racing Products have introduced their new brass rear motor weight for the Xray XB4 1/10th 4WD buggy. Considered an essential option part the item weighs in at 26g and it sits just behind the motor and acts as a counter weight for the heavy LiPo battery that is located on the right hand side of the buggy. With the lighter motor the additional weight is needed to achieve a proper weight balance and thanks to its clever design it directly attaches to the chassis side guards using a single screw, meaning the weight is both easy to remove when needed while also securely fastened so it will not get thrown out of the chassis during severe track action. The weight is machined from high-quality brass, it comes with RDRP’s signature black and gold finish and it is a direct fit.

Known as R/C’s 2nd longest running race and the premier race in Utah, over the years it has attracted some of the industry’s best drivers to compete on a high-bite, clay track better known as Intermountain R/C Raceway. Last weekend IRCR hosted the 29th Annual April Fool’s Classic and since the new ownership under Murfdog, has seen a significant resurgence of a genuine classic. The grip is always high at IRCR and by the mains, the fastest tires are ghost pins or slicks in the rear with low tread up front. With that kind of bite, navigating the flowy layout filled with technical elevated corners and jumps wasn’t an easy feat. Perhaps the hardest part on the track was the big triple that landed into a 180-degree turn coming onto the straightaway. The more precise you could land the jump while still maintaining a tight line and corner speed, the more time you could shave off your lap.
