Rivkin wraps up INS12 with double win

Spencer Rivkin has wrapped up the 12th edition of the JConcepts Indoor National Series with a double buggy win at the final at Hobby Action in Arizona. Having secured the overall TQ in both 2WD & 4WD buggy, the reigning World Champion had to work for the win with both finals being decided in A1. In 2WD, TLR’s Ryan Cavalieri who qualified 4th got the win from Rivkin with Ty Tessman coming through from 5th to take 3rd. A2 would also see Rivkin finish 2nd, the win this time going to Broc Champlin with Tessman bagging another P3. With it all on the line in A3, Rivkin finally delivered the win ahead of Yokomo Ryan Maifield with Cavalieri 3rd, enough for the later to secure second overall with Tessman completing the podium. In 4WD, Rivkin took the first encounter from Associated team-mate Dustin Evans who would go one better in A2 and take the win from Champlin and Cavalieri while Rivkin got only a P6. Again when it counted most Rivkin delivered the win in A3 to do the double with Evans and Caavlieri completing the overall podium. In the Expert buggy classes it was only a double winner with Hobby Action track manager Jake Thayer taking the early wins and able to sit out A3 in both 2WD and 4WD.
