Antoni Caretti wins at Australian TC nationals

Antoni Caretti wins at Australian TC nationals

The 2013 Australian National titles were held in the Adelaide hills, at the Littlehampton track in South Australia. The race had a lot lower numbers than usual, as some drivers went to the AOC in Japan, and some chose not to come, but none the less the racing was great for those that attended. Massive rain on Friday washed away the track’s sugar treatment and the race director decided not to renew the traction enhancer as the weather forecast promised more rain during the weekend. Saturday again was washed away and only three out of the four qualifiers could be run. Antoni Cartti swept the touring car modified class qualifiers by taking six out of the six rounds. In 17.5T boosted stock Scott Kilford also took six out of the six rounds putting his car in pole position. In the modified class finals Antoni was able to win the first two A-mains in order to grab the 2013 Australian National title adding to his two previous 1/12th victories. In the boosted stock class Scott won A-mains #2 and #3 for a clean sweep of Xray’s latest T4 car.

First round of the official Danish Indoor Championships was held last weekend in Faxe, on a non-permanent track in a large sports hall.
