Adrian Berntsen dominates Rd1 in Norway

The opening round of the Norwegian 1/10th scale 200mm Nationals took place last weekend and Adrian Bernsten sent us this report. After been doing some testing with my new Capricorn LAB C02 I was ready and looking forward for my first race in Norway for this outdoor season. This first round of the Norwegian national series was held at Geiteryggen racetrack in Skien and saw 19 drivers attending. The track had pretty low traction and was very bumpy so it was important to be fully concentrated on the driving throughout the whole runs. The track conditions were also changing a lot during the day as the temperature rose a bit from the morning.

The South American Championships for 1/8th scale and 1/10th 200mm took place over 4 days last week in Buenos Aires, Argentina. In the 1/8th scale class the pole position went to Flavio Elias and on Sunday he converted that starting position into the title for Capricorn/Picco. Henrique Winick was second ahead of fellow Capricorn/Novarossi driver Natalio Maringolo in third place. In the 1/10th scale class the pole position went to Sebastián Recio but on Sunday the victory was to go to the Brazilian Capricorn/Novarossi driver Henrique Winick followed by another Capricorn/Novarossi driver Juan Pablo Golobic in second with Mugen/Novarossi driver Leandro Campos in third place.
