Team Orion Vortex Neon 550 motor

The new Vortex Neon 550 is the latest 4-pole sensorless brushless motor from Team Orion. Using the experience gained from their 540 sized motors, Orion developed the new 550 version with the needs of off-road racers in mind. Robustness was achieved by building the motor around a massive aluminium case using quality screws. The 550 size motor is best suited for 1/10 off-road applications and is available in a 2400KV and 3800KV version with 3mm or 5mm axle. In the combo they combine this motor with the brand new and waterproof Vortex R10 SC WP ESC which gives you outstanding performance and control.

Team Orion Vortex VST SC 550 Pro motors

Team Orion have released their new Vortex VST SC 550 Pro motors. Using the same technology as in their 1/10 VST sensor motors, this 550 version has been optimised for Short Course Truck applications. A rebuildable 2 piece motor can design it has optimised sensor, rotor & stator positioning for improved efficiency and lower heat build-up. Available in 4.0, 4.5 and 5.0 versions.

Team Orion Vortex digital servos

Team Orion have introduced their all new line up of Vortex digital servos. Totally new developments, they offer features like lightened pinion gears or full aluminium body and bring together high performance with great prices. The Vortex Digital HV servos feature a full aluminium body, lightened titanium gears and coreless motor and come in 3 different versions, the VDS-HV 1205 (12kg/0.05s), the VDS-HV 1609 (16kg/0.09s) and the VDS-HV 2612 (26kg/0.12s). The Vortex Digital servo also features coreless motors and lightened titanium gears and in standard size comes in 4 different versions, the VDS 1106 (11kg/0.06s), VDS 1308 (13kg/0.08s), VDS 1712 (17kg/0.12s) and the VDS 2315 (23kg/0.15s) and also in a low profile version, the VDS 1009 (10kg/0.09s). Finally there is the entry level Vortex Digital EXP servo, the VDS-EXP 1112 (11kg/0.12s) which comes with metal gears and a coreless motor.

Team Orion Advantage IQ240 charger

The new Team Orion Advantage IQ240 is a compact, easy to use and mains powered charger which also automatically balances your batteries, improving performance and safety. It can be used with an input voltage of 110 to 240VAC meaning that it can be powered by mains power outlets anywhere in the world and three versions are available with different power cords (EU, UK and USA). The IQ240 charges 2S and 3S LiPo batteries with up to 700mA and thanks to the integrated balancer, it delivers precise and safe charging and its compact size makes this charger ideal for traveling. Team Orion Advantage IQ605 Charger

Providing advanced AC/DC battery management, Team Orion’s Advantage IQ605 charger rocks the house with the ability to charge 1 to 15-cell NiMh/NiCd, 1-to 6-cell LiPo/LiFe/Li-Ion and 2-20V Pb batteries. It can also charge up to 5 amps, discharge at 1 amp and is equipped with an integrated balancer for LiPo and LiFe batteries. Team Orion Experience 2 Pro & Vortex 10 motor

The Team Orion Experience 2 Pro is a sensorless brushless speed control for high torque applications delivering maximum acceleration and runtime. Similar to the version announced 2 days ago it too features automatic setup, plug & play technology, but doesn’t come with the Traxxas mount and is equipped with a Deans high power connector. This forward/brake/reverse ESC is made for 6-7 NiMH/NiCd cells and is LiPo/LiFe ready (2-3s) and it delivers 70A continuous and 360A peak current. The new 550 sized Vortex 10 motor is a 2800KV high torque motor designed for the use in off-road applications such as 1/10 scale buggies or short course trucks. It features a robust gun-metal casing, integrated cooling fins, multiple mounting holes and can be used with 6-7cells NiMH/NiCd or 2-3S LiPo/LiFe batteries.

Team Orion Experience 2 Pro Brushless system

Team Orion have developed an all new Brushless System with only one goal, to deliver more power, more speed and more punch to Short Course trucks. Keeping in mind to give the driver great feel and drivability the Experience 2 Pro Brushless system was born. Featuring automatic setup and plug & play technology, the system has been tested in the all the available Short Course trucks available on the market to provide the best compatibility. To fit the very popular Traxxas Slash, the large size heatsink features two mounting holes and so can be installed in the car with two screws, just like the standard Slash ESC and it also comes standard with the TRX high power connector.
