Grid RC releases a CNC machined drop-down wheel adapter for the Spektrum DX3R radio that brings the steering wheel directly in-line with the throttle trigger. Grid also considered the lightweight factor of the DX3R by milling the drop-down as thin of a profile as possible, so that it also matches the styling of the DX3R. The Grid wheel drop-down adapter takes only minutes to install. Once installed, the racer will benefit from a more relaxed and comfortable hand position.

Sanwa have released CAD images of their soon to be released MT-4 pistol grip transmitter. An all new look, this 2.4Ghz radio sports a large full dot LCD display and all the usual features you would expect from a radio of this level. What’s interesting is the inclusion of a telemetry system that can read receiver voltage, RPM and 2 different temperatures and feed it back to the screen on the transmitter. Futaba have released the T3PM, a three-channel pistol-grip computer system for RC model car and racing boat drivers, in 2.4 GHz FASST technology, a spread spectrum system with permanent frequency hopping (FHSS). This New variant of the T3PM system now has a crawler mixer function for trial vehicles for four-wheel-steering. Depending on what is required for the terrain, a mixer function allows the front and rear axles to be articulated in the same or in opposite directions.
